Ive got the demons in me, Ive got to brush them all away.......
Check the GA numbers on ticketmaster. They are expecting like 30,000 a day or so. Good enough for a first time festival.
I would totally go, I want some BBQ!
Thats cool I totally thought that it was going to tank. Didnt Coachella only have 20,000 its first year?

Something like that, more abround 30k. I think it was smart of GV to make sure to give all the freedoms we dream of to the Stagecoach audience because that would be the only way to keep them coming back. They are going to freak out and love this I figure, and its great that everyone will get long set times so they dont complain. It can only get better, besides its all been word of mouth. If they all leave happy its going to get huge next year.
Is there any real difference in the rules between the 2?
Ive got the demons in me, Ive got to brush them all away.......
Yeah I just read that I think that it has alot to do with the age demographic Coachella is geared torwords a younger crowd...

This is being billed as a family thing, they even have kids activities/areas so yeah they got even younger ones than we would.
I want BBQ and a lasso clinic!
LoL BBQ and a lasso clinic would be so cool. I also wouldnt mind a machanical bull that would be fun....

I'll be there. Im meeting up with my Dad and little sister who is a big "mainstream" country fan. I'll be spending most of my time on the outdoor theater equivalent stage. The one with Willie, Emmylou, Lucinda, Nico, Alejandro, etc. Should be fun.
im gonna be there just because its free 4 me, and also for all them hot cowboy wives that always rub my head ...yeee haaaa
I want to know which of you guys is BUNZY18 is on the Stagecoach board...
And Cooter.

i wanna know, now that its over, how it went? did anyone go from here?
I'm a reasonable man, get off my case.
the review I read said they had 25,000 attendees, of which about 20,000 put down lawn chairs or blankets in front of the main (Mane) stage all day, and didn't bother to venture anywhere else.
here it is.
this should encourage them to book all those Palomino Stage bands at Coachella insterad next year.

i be cooter over yonder...
the stagecoach message board is back up and i put a review up over there...
"it was amazing! so different than coachella and in a lot of ways, better. the best was the mid 80's temps on saturday, tons of clouds in the sky keeping us cool. sunday was clear skies and a lot hotter. the crowd was soooo laid back. everyone was sitting in their chairs and on their blankets just rocking out. i would choose a stagecoach crowd over a coachella crowd, at least for this year...rednecks > frat boys. you could leave the beer gardens with up to 2 beers. way more family oriented. i am guessing there were close to 35,000 a day, maybe even 40,000...to look out at the crowd while george strait was playing, i was more than impressed in the turn out for a first year festival. you could see heads packed in almost all the way back to the merch tent. spent most of my time at the palomino stage and the apaloosa tent and it was a great time. i am a coachella vet and will be a stagecoach vet in the near future if they go ahead with it next year...and i am not even a fan of country, just into events in themselves(the backstage access i receive makes it a lot more enjoyable for me for both events, as well).
as for that review in the oc register...i hate "critics", they're name says it all-they are there to criticize and it sucks that they can't just go as fans and enjoy themselves"
sounds like i missed a good 'ol time. i pined to go but never did, my loss.
