I wanna bring the camera but it kinda suck to have to carry it around. What do you say?
Yes
No
I bought a new camera for this.
i vote no. camera just one more thing to look after. keep it close to you, or that sht is gone. dont wanna imply that theres asshles at coachella, but theres asshles everywhere..
if its small and can slip in your pocket id take it
Disposables are great during the day, useless at night - but at least it's not too painful if you lose it.
I bought 4 disposables! Scavenger hunt necessity, of course. I may bring my digi cam too, but that will be for the hotel room pictures... ;o

that's cool, Rated R is fine by me.
4 more days, i can't fuckin wait
let's go for a long ride
i'll show you places you won't ever want to leave
I also bought a camera solely for the festival.
are you kidding? i just bought the biggest memory card i could find so that i could take as many videos as possible. i always cherish my coachella videos.
"All right. This is our 'last song.' Then we are going to go backstage and then come back out for our encore and play a few more songs for you."
Bringing my digi cam. It should't be too much trouble as it's small and I'll only be taking a few shots/vids of each band so as to maximize memory space. Plus my little cam has made it through many a squished pit, it's tough like me.
2005, 2007, 2011, 2012 W1, 2012 W2, and now 2013 W1 & 2013 W2!!!
Im trading mine wiht a friend this weekend. Hers is mad small but has most of the same features mine does (7.1 MP and all that)
This sig sponsored by Menocu® buttplugs.Menocu® butplugs are the only buttplugs Wykked Sceptre uses.
if people DIDN'T bring their cameras, how would thousands of non-coachella-goers been able to view the epic daft punk performance last year via youtube?!![]()
COACHELLA 99-01-05-06-07-08-09-10-11-12
i vote yes, but in the 4 years i've gone i have taken a combined maybe 20 pictures (and at least one per year is the windmill farm). i just don't use it as much as i think i will when i pack it.
New camera + 4GB of cards for me.
Yes...the camera is a must...you never know what kind of pictures you might get a hold of. Mine is not working that well...but F it...im still taking it!!!
I'm leaning no - based on the heat - the less crap the better, and I've seen some your pictures.
kidding - bring a small digi cam.

the poll is overwhelming. some of the most memorable pictures I have are from Coachella. for sure yes, bring it and extra memory cards/film.
How many concerts of this caliber let you bring in cameras? Most of the bigger shows I've been to will confiscate your camera just for trying to bring it in. Bringing a camera is a must. I took almost 300 pictures last year and plan on taking around that many this year.
Ummm yes, and no way I dont take video and stuff this year. 300? That was what I had by later afternoon!! I took like 2,000 over the whole weekend last year. I expect to double that total this year.
that's a ton of pictures.

Yep, my record for most photos in 1 show is NIN last year. I took just over 2100.
Jesus - I hope you are a professional.

Nope, I'm not. I just got 2 little cameras. Burst mode is my friend, especially with their lighting set up.
I see. I plan on hitting 500-600 at most - but I'll edit in camera each night.

My solution for that is I purchased a portable hard drive that uploads memory cards in a couple minutes and seperates them into folders. It holds 40GB and only cost me $120. Another year I escape and I dont need a laptop.
