I tried it. It rocked. But I can't figure out how to change text color. Everything else seemed to work--even the sounds.

you change text color by clicking on the color palet looking thing.

That didn't work. That's why I'm confused. it might be a work thing for all I know, but I THINK I tried it at home too.

when you say "that didnt work" can you elaborate? when you click on it, does nothing happen or does a color palet pop up? or do you get an error message? if you PM me your email address I will send you screen shots of what it normally looks like and what to do. im sure we can figure this out. (i may reply later though but ill get to it)

The pallette comes up, I choose a color, it brings it up on the lower window, but it does not change on my actual text part

I was in there for about 5 minutes and everything appeared to work fine. text color, emoticons (though thankfully limited), audiocons (or whatever). You can curse. It's A-OK.

I just talked to myself a bit and it worked wonderfully. Had no problems with colors, emoticons, audio emotes, increasing/decreasing text, and leaving. Works way better than the old chat, but I guess I should try it with others in the room to see if it does anything nasty.

The only real problem I have had is the chat won't change the text colors, but Erik says it's because I need to download a new version of Java. I can't do that at work, and I got an error when I tried to download Java at home and kind of gave up at that point. It's not too big of a deal though.
