Man, The Chilipeppers are one of the greatest bands out there... these days everyone is emo or indie and someone needs to backhand them into another dimension... Well maybe just the emo kids, but shit! quit hatin on the peppers

some people like bands that make new music, not remake the same album over and over and over with lyrics that make absolutely no fucking sense.
never heard of em
People are over them. The music they put out last year is the exact same as 5-6 years ago. We are tired of them. Let's get a break and then see what they do in a few years. A world tour last year kinda took the wind out of the sail as far as headlining coachella goes.
If they make one more goddamn song about california.....
Because Kiedis is tonedeaf.
yeah, they're just milking a formula and have been doing it for too long.
We hate them because they keep posting that they think Daft Punk is coming back this year.
I had a chance to see them A couple years ago in Vegas...
for the free centennial concert thing. but i shold my tickets.
so I personally are inteerested to see their live show.
Who are the "Red Hot Chili Peppers" and why are the a headliner? Are they that popular?
they are some band our of California that sings some songs about California...
they had that song 'Rollercoaster' and 'Under the Freeway' back in the 90's..
here is a taste of what you'll get at coachella

Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magik were seminal albums to me as a teenager.
no shit.
i absolutely loved "Blood Sugar Sex Magik", but Under The Bridge was the death knell for this band. Because that song was such a hit Keidis got the impression he could sing. HE CAN'T !
so instead of anymore fun punk/rap songs since Blood Sugar we've had 15 years of Under The Bridge Part Deux.
KEIDIS, YOU CAN'T SING
while the non-singing has lengthened their career, it has also diminished the popularity and good influence on current music.
early peppers is gold.
but this coming from a fishbone fan.
I don't think anyone is doubting their interesting formative years, but since the late ninenties (if not earlier) they have been utter and complete shit. If we could somehow get Flea, John and Chad to play alone with guest singers it would be far more interesting.
They should just play John Frusciante songs.
Lets just have Flea up on the mainstage Jammin out for an hour instead of the Peppers.
why not have flea and frusciante play with the mars volta instead?
Just curious as to how many people who are konocking the peppers have seen them live in the past few years. I'm by no means a massive fan but saw them live in Manchester last year and they played a great set, only 3 songs from the current album and a lot of older material.
Most of all I found out what a great guitarist Frusciante is, one of the best rock guitarists on the circuit today.
rhcp are not one of my favorite bands but i did recently see them live and the were very impressive they are all amazing artist..i respect them even though its not really my kind of music.
they are so dull live
sooooooooooo dull
they have one of most disappointing "live" sounds i have ever heard.
i love flea, but even he can't save the weak vocals and limp guitar they mix at their shows
it is utterly horrible
i saw them just last year, only a handful of old songs
and for the 1st 10 minutes there was at least 10,000 people chanting "turn it up, turn it up"
Saw them last year - had a great time. I like the California tunes, (I'm a California Gal), like the drug songs, (I'm an ex-junkie). And John Frusciante is as good as he looks.
i <3 the chilli peppers. always good stuff coming from these guys. they are great, they are just not in the "in crowds" cd player but you know if it came on the radio they'd be jamming.
the arcade fire should be headlining the second night, the chili peppers are just boring
