I'm surprised that there hasn't been a smaller, better curated festival spread out among a few venues in LA yet. And HARD seems to have so many fans that go to like, all of their events, and are STILL excited about all of these repeat acts.

    9/12: Shifted @ Mercer
    9/24 - 28: Decibel Festival
    10/3-5: Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival
    10/4: Ought @ BoH
10/5: The War on Drugs, Cass McCombs @ The Fillmore
    10/18-19: Treasure Island Music Festival

Oh I know that believe me. I've seen them enough times since 2008 to know how small their following is. At Coachella 2013 it seemed like there were only 100 people inside that tent. Same goes for Lolla in 08, and pretty much every other time I've seen them.

100 people in 2013? Maybe because I was in the front but I thought that tent was rocking for them. My set of the weekend for sure.

I'm def exaggerating but the tent was pretty empty. I was by the soundboard, and dancing my ass off the whole time. I couldn't help but notice how empty it was the whole time though. This was during weekend 2 btw.

Booka Shade were able to get a good sized crowd the last time through San Francisco at the Mezzanine during San Franchella '13.

They absolutely owned at Sasquatch '10. The crowd was so awesomely into it, Booka Shade actually came out post curfew for an encore.

9/27 Simian Mobile Disco @ The Mezzanine
10/5 The War On Drugs @ The Fillmore
10/21 Jessie Ware @ The Chapel
10/24 Little Dragon @ the Fox Theatre

    Fuck yeah.

Wasn't a small crowd either from what I recall.

I can only imagine how amazing a Booka Shade set would be at Sasquatch.

For Weekend 1, you are not exaggerating at all. Tent was ~ 1/8 full, I ran over from Phoenix for 20 minutes after deciding my friends chose wrong and while fantastic, felt kinda weird not having more people there. I presumed it would be crowded. I heard Dismemberment Plan was the same way this year, rough time slot I guess.

    7.23 - White Lung // 8.2-3 - HARD Summer // 8.7 - Jagwar Ma // 8.8 - Flume // 8.10 - Warpaint // 8.23-24 - FYF Fest // 9.5 - Feed Me // 10.8 - Kasabian // 10.12 - Speedy Ortiz // 10.25 - The Afghan Whigs // 10.31 - QotSA Halloween Show! // 4.10-12 - Coachella 2015 W1
