This would probably draw one of the biggest crowds. As far as commercially successful headliners go, there are a lot worse options right now

Every year someone makes a new thread, but I will always be in support. They've accomplished enough to draw one of the largest crowds, and would be a good band to hype up contests and promotions. Doubt they'll ever play Coachella though. Some good memories below

Actually I am referring to the overdose. Plane crash happened before Coachella.

Blink was unable to sell rexall place in Edmonton, so they had to drop the ticket prices to 5 dollars each 5 days before the show. Keep in mind, that's 5 CANADIAN dollars. That means people were actually PAID to go see them in USD. Do not book. So many reasons.

I saw Angel and Airwaves when they opened for Weezer in 2008 or so and he was one of the worst live performers I've ever seen. Maybe it's not always the case but it was really fucking bad that night.

Tom has always been horrible live. I was a fan back in their club days because the energy and quality fit those small venues, still remember the first time seeing them at showcase theater in corona, 2nd band on a 5 band bill. Never did see them in a huge venue like an arena of amphitheater, was over it by then. Live shows were always so sloppy. Think the last show I did see them play was opening for madness at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Have never had the urge to revisit them live since then.

Blink182 was one of the first concerts ive ever seen when they were on their Jonsie tour. Was also one of the worst shows ive ever been to. When an inexperienced 13 year old thinks you suck....

Blink is always fun live. Mark and Tom aren't the greatest musicians but they put on a high energy show, they honestly have sounded great the last couple times I've seen them, and they have pretty hilarious stage banter. I've seen them a bunch of times throughout the years. Probably will never get booked at Coachella either way.

Give 'em the Pixies treatment and let them play a surprise set earlier in the day than they would normally be booked. We can argue (and certainly will) about whether or not they suck, but blink has more than enough well-known fun pop songs to warrant time on the fields. They just aren't good enough to justify headliner status, which is surely what their bookers would go for.

(In before everyone accuses me of saying blink-182 is as good as Pixies. They're not but they're better than they get credit for.)
