Shit. It's gone and probably sold by now. I'm glad you had fun once you got inside and hopefully your luck proves better next time.

Dude, you know that they are going to search you at any given point. You really should've thought this through more. Consider it a hard lesson to learn and move on, cause you ain't getting your shit back.

Wait, so are you angry because you were trying to bring something that is not permitted (and yes, reading an FAQ before attending something is recommended) that thing was confiscated and now you can't get it back? Sounds like you could have saved all these problems by just, you know, preparing beforehand and not trying to sneak shit in.

Or you know using your head like the tens of thousands of other attendees that sneak things in.

First rule on that FAQ might be "Don't have a fucking pipe in your glove-box( aka the first place they check), you fucking moron."

If the most humiliating experience of your life, or, the most humiliating experience you feel like sharing in an elaborate woe is me style tale on a message board, is getting your car strip searched because you had a pipe in your fucking glove compartment and subsequently got a generator confiscated, I feel like your life is alright and maybe just shut the fuck up.

And I'm sure there's a few film festivals out there that would welcome a sad sack psuedo existential piece about the humiliation of getting a car thoroughly searched at a major festival.

Damn.
On the very same page that you linked, under the "general campground rules" that you claim you read thoroughly, it clearly says:

"Feel free to bring your own food and beverages into onsite camping. Refer to FAQ’s below as to what is allowed."
    AND

"Confiscated items are considered forfeited upon entry. There is NO guarantee of return regardless of what any random guard tells you."
If you actually refer to the FAQs below, and scroll down a little, on the same page, under "Camping FAQs":

"Are generators allowed into the onsite camping?
    No
    Dumbass.

Haha, Shrek is the man. Was heading out for a show that had no guest/comp list so my friend said to find Shrek to get me in. Asked what he looked like, he said just like his name. It's true, haha. Picked him right out.

Wasn't that the entire premise of American Beauty?
