I don't know how but the poster made like the lineup less...
I'm surprised Body Count aren't playing.
what the fuck is this lineup. *plays Ether*
11/21 - Pearl Jam - Viejas Arena
6/15/14 Failure - Glasshouse // 7/9/14 Cloud Nothings/Metz - Roxy

I'd love to see Body Count. didn't even realize they were doing shows again.
What's the "joke"?
Boris - 7/29 - The Mohawk
NIN/Soundgarden/ - 8/14 - Austin 360

Jamie xx - 8/27 - The Mohawk
Little Dragon - 8/31 - Moody Theater
Ty Segall - 9/5 - The Mohawk
Seth Troxler - 9/5 - Vulcan Gas Company
Black Lips/King Khan & BBQ Show - 9/12 - J. Lorraine Ghost Town
for the organizers of this lineup thinking it caters to LA music fans, this is a slap in the face
I feel bad for Classixx having to be on that lineup. I wouldn't have minded having them back for round 2 at FYF
7/1 - Deafheaven @ The Casbah
7/11 - Cloud Nothings @ Soda Bar
7/19 - Wolves In The Throne Room @ Che Cafe
8/5 - Arcade Fire, Spoon, Dan Deacon @ Sleeptrain Amphitheater
8/21 - NIN, Soundgarden, Death Grips @ Sleeptrain Amphitheater
8/22 - Future Islands @ Irenic
8/23~24 - FYF
Oh, and this
I'm recinding my previous statements. I would love to see them throw RHCP on the top of the LA bill
This lineup is a musical atrocity, an affront to common decency and good taste.
But really, though, who is this shitival (as the captn so aptly called it) geared towards? Who in the fuck is the target audience? There is nothing for anyone to get excited about. Imagine Dragons (can't even type that without getting nauseous) have a couple atrocious radio hits and will be playing county fairs in a few years. John fucking Mayer? Is he even a thing any more? Aren't all his fans now middle-aged women driving their bastard children around in SUVs, wreaking havoc on society, or holed up in battered wives shelters? Who is going to pay more than $200 for this shitshow?
30k people bought tickets before the lineup came out. all 30k are now pissed
Imagine Dragons, Capital Cities, Sublime, Rise Against will bring the KROQ kids, Steve Aoki and Afrojack will attract the Sahara rats, Metric is the token indie act gone big that has an accessible sound, Kendrick Lamar is the token relevant rapper, Cypress Hill is the token irrelevant rap act, and John Mayer is for the benefit of the chaperones. People will turn out for this, especially from the OC, Inland Empire, etc.
7/26 Au Revoir Simone @ The Roxy, 8/1 Arcade Fire, the Unicorns, Dan Deacon at the Forum, 8/2 Burger a-Go-Go, @ Observatory, 8/9 Warpaint @ Observatory, 8/10 Warpaint @ The Ace, 8/23-24 FYF Fest, 9/11 Swans @ Roxy, 9/18 Neutral Milk Hotel @ Hollywood Bowl, 9/19 Chvrches @ Palladium, 9/30 Cibo Matto @ the Roxy, 10/9 Zola Jesus @ El Rey, 10/16 Massive Attack @ Greek Theater, 10/26 Asobi Seksu & Slowdive @ Royale
...Still awaiting TheKlein to confirm
edit: I do feel sorry for Metric and Kendrick. They should just break away and do their own tour together, which I actually would pay to see.
