    I also did not scroll up. Granted, I was on a very important business phone call-which I had to take notes for and the timer gently encouraged me to read nothing.

    So maybe state that certain browsers with certain resolutions would have difficulty seeing the Payment Plan option if in fact there were some issues. That's all we ask. I',m happy I got my tickets and hopefully front gate will be able to help. Maybe there's a way for you to get in touch with Front Gate and have them allow changing to Payment Plan for anyone who calls within the next week or so. We appreciate all that you do.

    yes obviously had i known it was a big issue i would have stated that. i was not purposeful keeping the info from you to eff you up. CONTACT FRONT GATE FOR HELP

    Good luck with that. I did the same thing last year and when I called I was greeted with a message stating that all sales were final and that if you accidentally paid in full there was nothing they could do. Just for shits and giggles I remained on the line where one of the rudest customer service reps I've ever spoken with confirmed their "go fuck yourself" policy.

    Front Gate just had a pre recorded message stating that Coachella is sold out and that you can not change your full payment purchase to a payment plan. I'm still on hold hoping to talk to someone.

    edit: just listened.. It stated advance was sold out, check the website for more info, and all sales are final" but nothing about payment plans specifically.

    You can hard code anything into a page, but if you don't code the other part that allows it to be shown, you won't find it.

    It should have just been the tried and true each step gets it's own page with all the options. So as soon as you hit the payment method it shows you your options with nothing being selected for you or assuming.

    My girlfriend bought our tickets with my card and thought she had picked the payment method but hadn't. The money isn't a problem, but it did come as a big surprise.

    Do you happen to know why Coachella doesn't sell their own tickets? I don't know who makes the wristbands, boxes, etc etc or how any of it works, but it seems to me that the more steps you place between yourself and your customers, the harder and harder issues will be to fix when the time comes. Probably a time like this too, I don't know why though, since if you miss one payment you forfeit your previous payments.

    gv is a promoter not a ticketing company, it would take years to build and prefect a ticketing system. none of the existing ones are even that awesome and a lot of them have been around for years. just a guess. would you like to take stab at building one?

    I got my weekend one pass first and the payment plan was a clearly marked option you can click on like in the screenshot on the first page of this thread. However, I did not see it as an option for my weekend two pass and I ended up paying in full without even realizing it. I didn't expect to spend that much this month but I guess it isn't the worst thing since I got the pass. Good to see I wasn't the only one.

    I guess that's true. GV will still lose attendees due oversights like this. There has to be someway to gain back some type of autonomy over ticket sales so at least if something goes wrong GV will have control over it because we all know Front Gate doesn't care.

    My friend said it takes forever to get through but if you call Front Gate Tickets and can power through the long wait times, Coachella told them to start swapping out everyone's tickets who paid-in-full when they wanted to purchase with the payment plan. They have to sell you a new one so they can only do it over the phone.

    On hold now!
