man i wish they would quit booking these teenyhopper pilsners as headliners. where's the stout, where's the belgian-style open-fermented ale? at this rate in a few years the place will be overrun with kids flocking to see 3.2. sheesh.

These were my favorites. The Butternut Squash and White Sage Saison was the best, without a doubt. It was very creamy, spicy and complex, and I was just amazed by it. All of these others were varying degrees of delicious. The Horchata was my second favorite, and really tasted quite a bit like its namesake.

The three worst were, without a doubt, in order: Salty Mick (like licking a bag full of salt), Sushi Beer (all soy sauce and ginger, so waaaaay too savory) and Spearmint Pinenut (Tasted like chemicals and left a really strong aftertaste.) I would highly recommend this beer fest to anyone next year: some really wild and great flavors.

We got our normal beers next door, and went to a brewery the next day. Plenty of beers for everyone in Reno.

Horchata Saison? Hot damn. That sounds insanely delicious. Does the name describe the taste exactly?

I have had a couple Horchata influenced beers and they have been pretty good towards tasting similar.
