I like these hip hop suggestions. Although I saw People Under the Stairs twice many years ago and they were terrible live. I would hope their stage presence has improved.
10/8 - Little Dragon @ Marquee (Tempe, AZ)
10/11 - Carolina Chocolate Drops @ Rialto Theater (Tucson, AZ)
11/10 - The Black Keys @ US Airways Center (Phoenix, AZ)

Nope. Still kinda meh live. Saw them in NYC last year and the crowd was just not that into it which was pretty sad.

Would love to see Anna Calvi. And why haven't we gotten any Italians Do It Better bands? Chromatics/Glass Candy/Desire would be a dance party.

An Air France reunion would be a dream. And Bjork is due back too.

Glass Candy was there in 2009 and I LOVED it! Many ppl seemed kinda confused/weren't dancing that much but it was so much fun, I've been really waiting for them to book any IDIB bands especially after the Drive soundtrack was so successful and Chromatics (relatively speaking) blew up and had a popular album come out. Such a shame we haven't seen any Johnny Jewel projects in years, it's long overdue and would drop like a bomb at this point. I got to see a full card of Glass Candy/Chromatics/Desire in Seattle a couple years back and shit was ridiiiiiiculous. Seen Glass Candy a few times since then and people eat it up!

DEATH GRIPS are overdue already they've blown up so much since their 2012 performance, plus they have a new project this year and are touring

PARQUET COURTS, we missed them this year but GV heavily books them shows and they're releasing another album out this June. We're pretty much getting them next year.

Mac DeMarco - blowing up and released a great album

St. Vincent - her new tour is getting quite the acclaim, would be amazing to have her back

    Schoolboy Q - Overdue

Frank Ocean - New album due this summer, he's getting even bigger, appeals to both indie and mainstream crowd

Basement Jaxx - This needs to happen.

I hope you are right about the Parquet Courts, I am shocked they were not at Coachella 2014, and I also thought the Strypes would be there.

DP in the middle and BoC nears the bottom of a wish list is both sneaky and cool trick. Hehe jk, Paul.

To ZachAttacks11--??!! We just had Motorhead this year, who do you think was one of the first heavy metal/hard rock bands that inspired bands for that genre?
Motorhead was a good change of pace and the crowd really appreciated them, and i hope they continue to open up to different genres to have something for everyone......Let's bring in Iron Maiden!!

Uproar has Jane's Addiction and.....JAnes addiction headlined in coachella in 2001!!

So some of these festivals have the same bands as the others, so are you saying that Jane's Addiction or Alice in Chains do not belong at Coachella?

Especially when bands like Death From ABove 1979 and Superchunk just played, too.

I would not consider all american rejects on warped, they are not hard enough

Coachella getting Refused was one of the best things they've ever done along those lines. Combined with At The Drive-In too. Saved 2012.

You fucking dunce. I never said anything about being opposed to new genres or booking more metal acts. I'm against idiots like you who think having Bullet for My Valentine or All American Rejects at Coachella is a good thing or even a remote possibility. There is no correlation between Uproar and Coachella so trying to disect the significant of Jane's Addiction playing both, a decade apart, is pointless. Also, lots of people cared about seeing dfa and Motorhead. No one, except for prepubescent dopes like you, care to see All American Rejects or Bullet for My Valentine.

I hope so too and I hope they perform at Coachella. I got to see Souls of Mischief here in Vegas during their 20th anniversary tour of 93til Infinity and they were pretty good. If Coachella could give us any of those hip hop acts I'd be happy. I'm just tired of seeing anyone affiliated with ofwgkta on the lineup, it's not really my cup of tea.
