Damn, Haim sounded great. I'm not a big fan of their studio music, but they put on a great show live... that jam was fucking nice. Kinda bummed I didn't make time for their set last weekend when I was at the festival.

I feel the same. Their studio stuff kinda left me unimpressed, so I skipped their set. I don't feel too bad, because I saw John Spencer Blues Explosion instead, and they were fantastic. Glad I got to watch the Haim set on the broadcast though.
I hope to someday die of spontaneous human combustion, and in my final moments, I want to give each and every one of you a hug.

My favorite part of watching HAIM was the bassist's faces; reminded me of Phil Jones

Yeah, it is always interesting to see what bands choose to cover. Glad they did "Oh Well" as opposed to a pop song or something, and they jammed out well just like Fleetwood Mac. They need to let the youngest sister (the one who did vocals on that song) do more, I love her energy and I think her voice is the best. She seems like she has the most rock soul in her.

I wonder what the bassist of Haim thinks when she has to look at her own face while playing?

Haim needs to lose that drummer and or drum machine - it "cheeses" up the music. I think they sounded petty good when they were rocking out, not sure why they're going the pop route.

I like Haim's pop music, but I also enjoyed watching them rock out live. Girls can't sing live, though. Agree with whoever said the youngest seems to have the best voice.

Watching Outkast now. Andre is definitely more into it...I love his jumpsuit with the Sold Out tag hanging from it. How much should we be reading into that?

Got this recording. I started halfway through Broken Bells, I really like them live. Zedd blows.
I'm off to a Dad's Acid show for the night, I'll be zoned into this all day tomorrow. Enjoy

Bummer they didn't do all of Outkast but Im certainly jealous Weekend 2 got a way more enthusiastic Andre 3000. Other than that this is some nice coverage.

Broken Bells was my favorite Friday set at the festival last weekend, seeing the broadcast just reaffirmed it for me.

It seemed like she was so out of it and disinterested until she played "Anything Can Happen," then she got into the performance a bit. I don't know if it was nerves or what.

Watching Friday's show right now. Looks like a bigger crowd for Neko Case. A different demographic for W2 perhaps?
I have been to concerts. I will go to concerts in the future.

How the fuck did security let all those people bring in pineapples for Cage the Elephant?

Caught Bryan Ferry earlier. He was great. That was my second favorite set from weekend 1. I'm liking MGMT.

It was tough. We were at mats and they were so awesome. A certain boardie still not happy I pulled us away from it to see the start of Bryan Ferry (although she loved Ferry too). But... yea, I have no good answers. Brutal conflict.
