In Depth Review of Stefinitely Maybe

This deserves its own thread.

Last night, Chris, Tessa, Jennie and I went to meet the legendary Stefinitely Maybe. As previously announced, he was playing a solo acoustic set at a rock n' roll bingo function. We walked in just in time to see him playing his dedication to menik - "About a Girl". Then he closed his set with a medley that went from Britney Spears to Gnarls Barkley to Radiohead to Coldplay to - appropriately - a closer of "Live Forever". Then we all had a beer together and reminisced over memories past. All that was missing was the Ghostbusters cap.

Everybody gets a card when they come to the venue. Written on each card is something like "Lead singer shouts GOOD EVENING CLEVELAND" or "Lighters are held aloft", or "Stupid frat boy holds his cellphone up so that buddy who didn't come to the gig can hear the big hit".

Whoever fills their card out first shouts "Bingo!" and wins large pink panda from the merch stand.

I sincerely hope there was no recording of this; I learned that playing a show when you haven't slept for 24 hours and have just spent the past 3 hours calling bingo numbers is a really bad idea.

Meeting the boardies was awesome though. But you guys missed the first couple of songs of my set!
