Thread: So will Paul flip things around next year?

Default So will Paul flip things around next year?

What they need to do next year is give us back the critical darlings of the year, book Mac DeMarco, Real Estate, Sun Kil Moon, St. Vincent, Parquet Courts next year. For the reunion acts just throw in Slowdive and some other artists. And the rest they can add whatever cheese EDM dickhead they want that will distract the molly fanboys for the weekend, maybe have two BIG name DJ's and then Coachella will be back to normal again. This year it was a lot of artists who released shitty albums last year or were overhyped & of course way to much EDM. The only thing they got right this year were the reunions. GV just needs to focus more on the undercard again next year.

Implying that Coachella doesn't book artists that released albums from the past year.

Actually, the "even" years are usually worst...and next year is the "odd" year, so there's a good chance he will.

NO, I've learned that even years are more reliable. You may not be able to know exactly what is going to happen, but there will be no surprises.

Your taste in music is boring. Next year they'll continue to book the KROQ bands that actually draw a crowd. Like Awolnation, Gaslight Anthem, Kaiser Chiefs , Cage the Elephant, etc
