Default Fewer DJ's but longer sets at Yuma for next year please

I'd rather have fewer underground acts in the Yuma as long as they have at least 2 hours each so they can truly do justice. One hour sets by guys like Scuba is just pitiful IMO.

The Yuma has become such an incredible addition to Coachella that I'm hesitent to complain about a single aspect of it. Let's concentrate on the additions of space, toilets, pizza, water, lighting/effects, and the DISCO SHARK!

And really, the set lengths aren't much different from any other festival. Nina Kravitz got the same hour and a half at Coachella as she's getting at Awakenings in a couple of months, for example. Moudaber got 1h30m at both as well. And sure, Scuba got shorted a bit with 1h15m, but holy shit did he make the most of it...that set was intense!

    06/30 Jack White - L'Olympia
07/01 Slow Magic - Le Batofar
    07/29 Boris - The Mohawk
08/31 Little Dragon - The Moody Theater
    10/03 Shonen Knife - Red 7
09/12 GvsB IV w/Panda Bear, SOPHIE, DOSS, Ejecta - Granada Theater
11/7,8,9 Fun Fun Fun - Auditorium Shores
11/12 The Horrors - The Parish
11/23 Caribou, Jessy Lanza - The Mohawk

Oh I'm not complaining except for the sound. Just wished it could have been better but I still had a fucking blast in the Yuma though.

Favorite stage this year by a long shot. I'm making a disco shark for our living room when I get back home.
Wow, 12 step meetings at Coachella, who knew? SOBERCHELLA.COM

I'm a reasonable man, get off my case....

Yea, I could've listened to Maceo Plex for another 2 hours. Plus the lineup was missing Skream and Matthew Dear :P

The only benefit to the existing process is when an artist sucks. Laurent Garnier did not suck.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

Did you guys catch Guy Gerber? He played Mouth To Mouth. I was pretty stoked.

Maceo Plex to Laurent Garnier in the Yuma on Sunday night.

    Sweet. Baby. Jesus.

The best two hours of DJing I've heard in a very very very long time.

the only problem with the Yuma is that it's not Coachella in there...

    and that's a big problem.

i kind of agree with this..i spent maybe like an hour in there all weekend..wanted to spend more time in there..but it's difficult..what's even funnier is those squares that just go in there to sit down because it's too hot outside haha
