Are they still making people enter through the out of business rug store on Sunset? When I went there to see Of Montreal, I almost got violent because I could not figure out how to get to the Ex_Plex and the Echo was locked. The security gal at the door watched me walk by her twice and never offered help.
I dont know, I wasnt supposed to go there until May 5th for Minus the Bear, guess I get to find out.
They've completed the renovation, so now you just enter through the Echo's main entrance and go down the stairs to the right.
JUST GOT MY TICKET
They killed last nite. Haven't seen a show with energy like that since The Buzzcocks played at the Fonda.
7:30pm Sunday in the Mojave tent is when they said they'll be playing.
Yeah I posted a review about the show and pics in the lounge. I will post it here again. Yeah I talked to Jamie and thats what he said, I posted that in the unofficial set times thread.
Came back from Klaxons at ExPlx a couple hours ago, that was insane. The crowd got pretty rough and there was crowd surfing? Its a really nice place and definately go to ExPlx if there is a show you want to see. The Deadly Syndrome opened up and they are really fun to watch, they had these cardboard cut outs of ghost and they had mustahces and stuff drawn on their faces. So yeah Klaxons was fun, They played the entire cd, just in a diff order. I got to meet the band afterwards too. If you bought the cd you got this laminate to be able to met them afterwards. They are all really nice especially Jamie, he sat down next to me and we just started talking about the show and Coachella and random things. He really wants to see Willie Nelson on Sunday. Alright so some photos, time for sleep.

Thanks, I try not to dissapoint.
Crowd was definetely rowdy. One guy was losing it and grabbed my friends glasses off his face. we found pieces of them at the end of the nite.
Still, it didn't ruin our time.
James ended up handing out the rest of a 6 pack or Corona before the last song, everyone was cheering. And this kid next to me drank all of Jamies' beers while they were playign it was hilarious.
It sounded crazy, I mean it gets done diff live you know? The distorted bass is like nasty and dirty and its played a little faster. The harmonies were pretty spot on. I seriously felt like I was in London watching them.
I got to see them the other night in Denver. Great show. Short set. Im not sure who was drunker me or them. We got to hang out with them afterwords. The hoes were all over 'em. They got on their bus with atleast 10 girls. rock n roll.
