Wondering if the shuttle leaves at 11 from white line at Riviera.

If so how long does it take to get to the site?

from what i've gathered it looks like it's roughly 25 miles from Riviera Resort to Lot 2 (where they drop you off). ordinarily that would take less than a half hour accordingly to google maps. however, it's going to be Friday and there's going to be a shit ton of people on the road right? I'd give it at least an hour from Riveria to Lot 2. My question is how long is the walk from Lot 2 to the entrance?

I'm going next weekend and want to know what time I need to get on that shuttle at Riveria in order to make it to GOAT at 1:25pm. my plan in my head right now is to get on it by 11:30a. hopefully others that experience it weekend one can report back.

for the OP, I doubt you'll be able to make it inside the fest by 12pm Friday :/

Lot 2 to the entrance is 10 minutes max.
The question is how fast the lines move that early.
VIP is always fast, but GA can be a clusterfuck particularly on day 1, particularly with wristband registration requirements.

walk south past the main venue entrance to the security check from day parking/ada parking. that's the fastest way in.

Yes, I'll be on that shuttle at 11:00. Based on the last 2 years, you will not be there in time to catch a 12:00 act. Why?

The bus driver may be new and get lost (it has happened twice to me)

The buses are not allocated correctly the first day & they don't leave right at 11:00 (happened once)

The walk to the music is long.

You will probably have to pass through 2 security checks. They are usually the busiest on the first day of the first weekend because, well, I don't know why. After all these years you'd think they'd be prepared, but they aren't. You'll need good luck with this. It may range from 15-90 minutes is my guess.

I got on the shuttle at the Riviera at around 11:00-11:10 and made it to GOAT with just enough time to spare. Our driver got a bit lost on the way and it took about 20 minutes or so to get in through the security checkpoint. If you want to see GOAT, get on that 11:00 shuttle just to be safe.
