I only see Saturday singles, not Sundays.

You have to click the Sunday date in the calendar. It fooled me, too, since the weekend pass and saturday pass were both shown (only because they used saturday as the "date" of the weekend pass).

Yeah I bought a weekend pass for twenty bucks . Highlights : phantogram and carnival rides . The rest of the lineup was horrible lowlighted by best coast . Midlake actually made me fall down and pass out and dream in grey .

Spicy pie is also serving their shit . Crowd is also dumb , hearing people asking who phantogram is on a lineup like this is a joke. Indie crowd is retarded .

The Men were cool but under attended. LIARS were fucking great. Thanks for recommending Quilt. I danced with them during a random dance party in the crafts section. That girl is so pretty. The national were amazing and Matt went way out in the crowd during Mr. November and I followed him the whole was. What a great band. On sat, Beck killed and I got way drunk. Good set by Speedy Ortiz and good heads up from her concerning the choco taco truck. Puddles the clown was the weirdest amazing thing at the vaideville stage. Sleepy Sun was cool too. I'm tired.

Well sunday actually had some music. The Men / Liars/ Geographer /Future Islands /lake street dive / Naked and Famous / National were all good. I love the stands on the mainstage. The weird clown was entertaining. Free rides helped with the downtimes.

Crowd was chill obviously. Nice weekend despite the lack of good bands.

I had a really fun time at this festival. Beck put on a great show and I enjoy how much space there was to enjoy it. Saw Phantogram, Tokyo Police Club, Midlake and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, all who put on decent sets. I was a bit tired from the Jack White show the night before and really just tried to take it easy. The stage with the lawn and the big trees was good for relaxing at, so we just kicked back for the UMO and Midlake sets. I think I read that about 8K people were there Saturday which is a nice break from the 65-70K at Outside Lands. Only complaint besides the traffic coming in from the north and the dust at the main stage, was the 1hr break between Phantogram and Beck. Felt like forever! The stage was ready to go by 8:45-9pm it seemed. Would have much more preffered a longer Beck set than walking to the other end of the festival to see Blind Pilot, and I'm pretty sure about 5-6K other folks felt the same. Didn't go back for Sunday.

I've heard nothing but good things about Beck's performance and if I'd have known in advance his SF tickets were to be as expensive ($90) as they are, I'd have bought some cheap stubhub tix to FCF and driven my ass to Monterrey.

As atrocious as being surrounded by people not familiar with a boring indie pop act sounds, I think I'd like to weather that storm and try out First City next year if they have it again.

Honestly, it was the best behaved festival crowd I've been around. Maybe it's because there were so few people there, those that decided to come were those that were committed to the acts. No chitter-chatter, no fucking flags or other obstructions, no hecklers, etc.

I feel like the "other" types of typical festival attendees avoided this fest simply because there weren't enough eyes to really "be seen".

I'm with you. If FYF ends up at Expo park again, I'm ditching it and trying this festival next year.

Phantogram are one of the only good bands out there from the last five years. If you think they suck then idk what you think is a good band. Phantogram will blow away 90% of most live bands today hence their high booking at fests with only a minor radio presence . The phantogram live show was only rivaled by beck and the National at this fest.
