I don't doubt it. Though admittedly I don't see a ton of headliners, the only other bigger crowd I ever saw was Jay-Z back in '10. For an old rocker like myself, that (the CH crowd) was a sad but telling testimonial on where the festival is and is inexorably heading.
I have been to concerts. I will go to concerts in the future.

Neutral Milk Hotel was indeed really good, as expected. The Lana crowd bleeding into it was a bit irritating, but they were largely fine from where I was standing. There was a moment, though, where during a break between songs a guy yelled "LANNNAAA" as loud as possible, and I think we all cringed in unison.

Yeah, I didn't notice too many Lana fans being poor sports, good on them. They did, however, push forward so hard after NMH that for a second I honestly thought I wouldn't make it out.

The set was great, but I can't help but be disappointed that I didn't get to mosh to Holland 1945 and Untitled. I can't be the only one, right?

Haha you weren't the only one. Still super fun though.

I honestly expected the crowd to be more into it. The Lana fans at the end were awful. I had to grab onto a stranger's backpack just so I wouldn't get suffocated by the swarming mass of people.

Then again, that's really the only bad thing. The set was amazing.
