Knife v caravan palace is probably my worst one, or qotsa v mogwai. My plan; watch beginning of Caravan, walk to Knife for a couple songs, continue on to OutKast.

Metric, Of Monsters, Local Natives, Beach House, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Band of Horses, Stone Roses, Foals, Tegan and Sara or How to Destroy 2 Bears, Violent Femmes, Portugal, Hot Chip, Spiritualized, Simian Mobile or Postal, Moby, New Order, Sigur Ros DIIV, Oh Sees, Grimes, Paul K, Oakey, Vampire Weekend, Pretty LIghts, OMD, WU, RHCP, Dead Can Dance
Lorde vs Foster the People is a HUGE conflict on Sat for people into top40 popular new bands that are actually pretty good in the quality department.
Grouplove v Aloe Blacc sucks as both their new albums are quality and they're very different, yet both very fun bands to see.
Motorhead over Arcade Fire. Probably possible to still catch a good chunk of AC if Motorhead goes on stage on time.
I definitely will be in the Yuma for Nicolas Jaar over Broken Bells and Chromeo. Really enjoyed him at FYF. And all you all do yourself a favor and make sure to see Jagwar Ma. Few conflicts around that one and should be good coming out of Dum Dum Girls on the Outdoor.

Steve Winwood| Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds| Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds| Echo and the Bunnymen| Echo and the Bunnymen| Paul McCartney| Foxygen| FYF Fest| NIN/Soundgarden|

Afghan Whigs vs. Neko Case
QotSA vs. Mogwai - depends on how close I can get for Queens, if not Mogwai
Muse vs. DPlan vs. Tiga
Daughter vs. Beck - but only b/c Beck
Not a bad year at all!
7.23 - White Lung // 8.2-3 - HARD Summer // 8.7 - Jagwar Ma // 8.8 - Flume // 8.10 - Warpaint // 8.23-24 - FYF Fest // 9.5 - Feed Me // 10.8 - Kasabian // 10.12 - Speedy Ortiz // 10.25 - The Afghan Whigs // 10.31 - QotSA Halloween Show! // 4.10-12 - Coachella 2015 W1
The Afghan Whigs, Shlohmo, Broken Bells, Nicolas Jaar, Bonobo, Woodkid all jammed up on each other across 4 stages in the two-hour sunset-to-early-evening timeframe. Going both weekends this year so I'll be able to work out some, but certainly not all, of these conflicts.
Christian Martin (Do Lab, WE 1 only) Washed Out, Warpaint. Damn. I could do Washed Out one weekend, Warpaint the other, but seeing Christian Martin -- which I very much want to do -- takes out both Washed Out and, effectively, Warpaint. So I don't think I'll do that. Damn.
To a lesser extent the Pixies -- all right! the Pixies! -- Galantis, Mogwai, and DARKSIDE overlaps back and forth between the Mojave and Gobi are a pain. But Mogwai wins, Galantis loses, on both weekends. I won't miss any of Mogwai's set, and neither should you. Perfect that DARKSIDE is playing so late in the Gobi, with the Mojave empty for almost all their set. Any noise bleed from Pharrell on the Outdoor will be shitty, of course, so I'll station myself to the starboard side.
Not bad, really, considering just how many bands I want to check out this year. Very glad I'm doing both weekends. Might just have to make a habit of it.
Arcade Fire/Disclosure/Motorhead/Duck Sauce is killing me.
Sunday before 4 PM: where does one begin?
Ellie v Duke Dumont v Shlohmo
Sleigh Bells v Galantis
Lorde v Solange v Fatboy
CHVRCHES v Banks v Bombay Bicycle Club
Overall though this is nothing. Good work on Coachella's part.
anything could happen
My biggest problem is on Sunday with Little Dragon and Calvin Harris... Any advice?
Friday: Bonobo vs. Chromeo...Flume vs. Martin Garrix...Hot since 82 vs. Zedd vs. Knife..
Saturday: Headhunterz vs. Temples... Kid Cudi vs. Washed Out vs. Warpaint... MGMT vs. Capital Cities vs. RL Grimes vs. Dillion Francis.. Foster the People vs. Fat Boy Slim... Sleigh Bells vs. Pixies... Skrillex vs. Muse
Sunday: Flight Facilities vs. Poolside...Flosstradamus vs. Alesso...Calvin Harris vs. Little Dragon
Replacements vs. Bryan Ferry - Not really a conflict because The 'Mats are my all-time favorite band and seeing them live is holy grail status for me - but it sucks to miss Bryan Ferry.
Neko Case vs. Afghan Whigs - Taking care of this by seeing the Afghan Whigs at Pappy & Harriet's on Thursday.
Motorhead vs. Arcade Fire - Sacrificing a complete AF set for Motorhead because I may not get another chance to see Motorhead.
Start with Bo Ningen. Head on over and catch J. Roddy lift the Outdoor stage off the ground. Then it's really a 4-way conflict. I say you catch as much of PHJB. Once you've gotten your jazz fix, head over to Bombino and watch some genius guitar. If he cuts out a little early, catch the end of Fishbone and track back for Courtney.
I have been to concerts. I will go to concerts in the future.
