I hope the Phish shows in Albany the weekend prior and the same weekend at Randalls Island don't have an effect on this. This is the first huge thing the Hudson Valley has had like this since 94. The lineup looks great. Ill be there July visiting family, looks like I am going to this too.

I am sure a lot will show up regardless being that Phish will have just completed a 3 night run at SPAC the weekend prior.

was just about to post this, glad I came across the thread. mixed feelings about this- there's not TOO many artists I'm familiar with, which could be a good thing because I'll discover some new stuff. hell, there's actually just a handful of artists I DO know.

my concern is how the festival will be run. for one, the guy who ran Woodstock 99 is running this and we all know how that turned out. combine that with a first time festival and it could be a disaster. (high food and water prices, bad security etc)

on the other hand, it'd be cool to be at the inagural year of something that could potentially last a while. the biggest selling point for me is that it's on the grounds of Woodstock 94, which I was planning on visiting this year for the 20 year anniversary. now I have the chance to see a festival there. I would LOVE for it to rain...viva la mudstock!!

I'm debating on if I should camp if I go. you CAN'T enter campgrounds if you don't camp there, which is kinda wack. money's very tight after Coachella and travelling across the country for it!

The Hudson Project is about a 3 hr drive from my home which is pretty cool.
