Where to park overnight?

Hey folks,

2 buddies and myself are flying in from Chicago on Saturday night. We'll probably arrive in the Indio area at about 11:00 PM. We're flying into Long Beach and renting a cargo van. The plan is to sleep in the van Saturday and Sunday night. According to the Coachella website there is no overnight parking. The question is, where can we park? Is there a rest area somewhere near the festival area? Saturday night I'm not too concerned because we'll be arriving so late but Sunday I'd rather just stay in the area and take off in the morning.

Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Probably not, the neighborhoods around Coachella are gated communities for the most part.

theres also a truck stop with a huge parking lot on dillion between fantasy springs and spotlight 29 in indio on I-10... has showers, fast food and all that kinda stuff.

I don't suppose you have an exact address of this place? I don't want to get lost in the middle of California . Thanks for the reply.

Couldnt you also park in the closest hotels parking lot?? No showers or anything, but your close!
