I was at sunday nights game and Kobe was on fire but is that enough to take them all the way? Do you think the Lakers will make it past game 4 of the first round of the playoffs? injuries have hurt the lakers chemistry, but it seems that all the pieces are back in place. question is, is it to late?

i'm hoping that the urgency and tenacity of the playoffs will elevate everyone's game and at last we'll see a competitive and energetic lakers squad go at it with phoenix.

I have to agree with you!

I was at the last Laker home game on sunday night and watched Kobe score his 50 points, 10th this season. They've had so many injuries this season and some of the players are still trying to find their game so late in the season. It's looks like they're still struggling to recover! I will say that watching Kobe live is somethin else. He really is a master of his craft. I think they have have to get their confidence back as a team and help Kobe out in the paint.

Looks like the Lakers will be playing the Suns in the first round, I'd rather them play Spurs but oh well. Everybody needs to step up defensively. If the Lakers play good D and Kobe scores 30-50 every game, which I think will most likely happen they'll be okay. Raja Bell thinks he can stop Kobe, so he'll be on him like flies on those kids from the world vision commercials.

Lakers-Suns is not yet a given. If the Lakers lose tonight (to the Kings) and the Warriors win (over the Trailblazers) then the Lakers will play the Mavs and the Warriors play the Suns.

If the Lakers do play the Suns and are able to extend the series to 6 or 7 games then the Lakers will have done weill.
