    Cool Portable shower

Does anyone know if I bring my own portable shower will they allow me to fill it up with their hoses?

You never know, but I wouldn't count on it.

I just borrow a couple old water cooler bottles from work (the huge ones) and fill them with hose water to use for washing for the weekend. We've also used these super handy foldable water jugs before.

Yes they let you fill it.
    We bring one every year.

Are there actually hoses to fill with? I only remember seeing the faucets, so you have to maneuver to get water in (which shouldn't be very hard for the portable shower). I might be wrong though as I've only ever filled up water bottle containers.

It is just the faucets, but the sinks are deep.
We haven't ever had a problem filling ours.
    And it's a 5 gallon bag I believe.

Ah, ok, that's what I thought. I've seen people in past years with kiddie pools (which are gross after about 2 minutes), so I assume they had to fill water into buckets or something and then dump into their pool at their site.

    Thanks for confirming Elizabeth.

    No problem

Any ideas about hanging the solar shower up? A few gallons of water gets quite heavy.

We use a big S-clip that we got at Sports Authority (I can't find it online or I would post a link).
And we hang it off a rack on the top of our car.

I really want to bring a shower this year, but I am a little self conscious about dumping my water in the camping fire lane and killing the grass with soapy water. Is that a thing?. I was going to buy one of these for fill ups: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/han...t-bbf_1_glance

I know, I just feel jerky for leaving a huge dead patch for weekend two campers. I already imagine their campsites can't be that great weekend 2.

Dont fill it to 5 gal, the weight broke my shower :-( Also be careful letting neighbors use it, you say its cool for one guy then theres a dozen people using the thing to the point you have to wait to take a shower in the thing you brought!
Im gonna put a lock on mine man, I put a portable toilet in it to, that shit fills up quite when the whole neighborhood hears about it.

Last year I bought one of those chemical sprayers from Home Depot and it was the best decision EVER! Just so simple plus it's pressurized! And for only $10 you can't go wrong.

I just bought one of those (unused) at a garage sale for 1$ and have it already packed into my camping luggage. I also am bringing a solar shower. Luxury
