Thread: Why Register Wristbands?

    Default Why Register Wristbands?

    Hello Fellow Coachellan People,

Can anyone tell me what exactly the purpose of registering the bands is for? I'm reading different things about it: verifying legitimacy of the barcode/ticket, it's a Facebook tracking thing, yada yada yada. Why is registration a MUST?

    Thanks a Bunch!

It's not a must. Mostly for the Facebook check-in bullshit.

It's so that they can try for the third consecutive year to have a silly Check-In thing that never, ever works.

No, you actually won't. It won't set off the checkpoint properly. Register that shit.

And . . . if we registered, we could essentially immediately download pix and thoughts to a certain photo data base to share with friends eventually. The potential is mindless.

No, that will be a separate project, created by someone who actually had the forethought to ponder the question, "Wait... why the fuck should we give a shit about this? And why are we spending so much money on it?"

I would be so surprised if it's actually required this year, like most I have never registered my wristband and don't really care to this year
