I'm not kidding. The first Elton John Greatest Hits album is amazing. It's an all time classic.

I like some of My Chemical Romance songs. Forget the lyrics, forget their image, and you've got some catchy ass tunes.

Oh and I have the first Hootie album and it is shameful. Not proud of it.

I personally hate Hootie, but agree a little top 40 never hurt anyone.

There's nothing wrong with that album at all. It's actually pretty goddamn good, I think. Screw the indie hipsters who say elsewise.

I still have and enjoy Cracker Rear View as well.

Elton John's 1st greatest hits album is undeniably awesome.

There is no shame in any of this.

Except for that Gerardo thing. Whoa.

I hate Hootie, but I used to like Alanis Morissette quite a bit. Alanis/Garbage was the first concert my husband and I went to when we started dating.

I like lots of stuff that was popular. I'm listening to Dire Straits right now. Wanna fight about it?

I think it's only alright to hate all pop when you're 16 and think you're right about every thing.

I don't mind a bit of Justin Timberlake, his first album where half the beats were by the Neptunes was not too bad.. A long way from Bye Bye Bye!

Yeah, Elton John's greatest hits is great. But I never, NEVER liked Hootie and the Blowfish, even though I liked a lot of that other garbage that was played on the radio all the time back then.

But pop music has been terrible ever since Michael Jackson turned into a white woman. FACT.

I agree it's ok to like top forty music or even bottom forty music. Whatever floats your boat.

I, however, hate hootie and the blowfish for the fact that their music is mediocre at best and the consensus seemed to be that their music was genius.

This was the only time i was happy to see him.
    I miss Bill Hicks.
