    Default rjd2

I don't know how many of you are fans of Rjd2 but his tour ends days before Coachella...his opener (Bus Driver) is at coachella....There's a definite lack of Sahara talent...I mean...isn't he a no-brainer at this point? I haven't heard anyone mention rjd2 at all...

    thoughts?

sorry I've never been to coachella but i've seen rjd2 and faithless and Tiesto and BT etc etc and i'm wondering...why is he def. not a Sahara act? Not Trance-ey enough? What if he just did a DJ-set?

The new album sounds like everything but Sahara Tent.

Sahara tent is mostly reserved for that huge sound...whether it be house, trance, drum 'n bass, or whatever other subesction of dance music there may be. RJD2 simply doesn't fit that big dance sound. Yes, he is largely an electronic artist, but his style does not fit sahara. He was part of the lineup back in '03 with the Def Jux crew and they rocked out in the smallest tent Gobi and that performance inlcuded the likes of El-P and Aesop.
