Looking to meet cool new people

This will be my 6th Coachella, but the 1st in which I go it alone. I have some friends that I will meeting on Saturday, but until then I will be flying solo. I'm really interested in seeing DJ Shadow, El-P, Bjork and Interpol.

you are right on so many levels. i've been there with my girlfriend a few times and the general atmosphere is just like you described. i lost her one year and had a super time!

I always meet my friend at the end of the day at the KROQ tent.

I always fly solo once I get to Coachella. My pals always want to see different artists than I do, so we meet up maybe once or twice throughout the day and find each other at the end of the evening. I have enjoyed doing my own thing and have had some fantastic experiences as a result. I think its one of the things that makes Coachella so special!

I think you'll have a lot of fun on Friday. El-P and Shadow are going to be great and it will be a very memorable experience either way!
