Default For the future GV, let's keep Hardstyle to a minimum

Complain all you want about dubstep, trance, cheesy electro house, trap, whatever but dear god hard style is one of the worst dance genres to come out yet and we got two of them with Headhunterz and Showtek.

I mean, listen to this shit...

I'm not really a fan of hard style but out of curiosity, what will you be watching instead?

I'm going to walk by during Headhunterz wherever he plays. Legitimately curious as to how anybody could dance to this kind of garbage.

This may be wrong but supposedly hardstyle came into popularity via trap, another reason why trap is terrible.

I'm pretty sure Hardstyle has been around much longer than Trap.

Then again, I wasn't aware Hardstyle had come into popularity.

For the same reasons hardcore punk or speed metal exist. It's an adrenalin rush. For a brief time in Los Angeles in the 90s, hardcore gabber was as popular as house music. I sold tons of mixtapes of it, the kids couldn't get enough. DJ Tron (R.I.P.), Delta 9, Lenny Dee, Ron D Core, Dan Efex and a few other DJs were the ones really breaking it to American audiences.
I liked a lot of it myself, especially the darker stuff, but I don't find myself listening to much of it anymore.

Hardstyle seems to be something different, more along the lines of partycore, which is a little less abrasive and more friendly to the ears, but I haven't been in the game for a long time so I could be wrong.

This sucks, but fuck your opinion influencing the lineup. Let people like what they're gonna like.
