I walked in once early on Friday just to check it out. Not packed at all, but then again it was early. The Dome was much better.
Gza fucking destroyed the Heini House Saturday night. Still can't get over it. A greatest hits set into another greatest hits set with Pharrell into a greatest album set with Nas and Hova made for a night of hip hop I'll never forget.
Thundercat was a pretty sick opener for Gza too. I think he plays LA pretty consistently, but that was the first time I've seen. Talented dude. Gaslamp Killer was pretty douchey, but it was neat to see him improv with Thunder. It was also awesome to Gza sublmininally clown GK throughout his set.
Saturday night GLK> GLK/Thundercat > GZA/GLK straight made my Saturday night an unforgettable one. Definitely not packed at all! Everyone I talked to about it outside of the Heini House during the day had NO idea they were gonna be there.

The Heineken Dome was great. Went there to check out Solomun and he was laying down some slick house. Being able to crush some beers while dancing to one of my favourite DJ's was absolutely fantastic.
