I've got one that I'm selling. I'll sell it for the early-bird price of $125. (It's an email ticket, so I believe I can just forward it.)

If you're interested, send me a pm.

    Well, so much for that.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

Well, I think the festival is semi fortunate that theyre playing Friday, and the 2nd act to play. Looks like nobody is gonna show up til about 4 now. Maybe they get somebody to fill the slot, they got some time.

I noticed they announced some after shows.

So can they just get Liars to fill in for somebody over the weekend? Since Earl Sweatshirt is out now too? And I doubt itll be hard to get into that Liars show after the fest, either.

So, this happened this weekend. The weather was damn near perfect, sunny and in the low 80's all day.

    My top sets:

    1. St. Vincent (Annie is a fucking rock star)
    2. Beck (Much better than the last time I saw him, 'E-Pro' came off like gangbusters and I'm not really a fan of that song)
    3. Danny Brown (A big party, like his sets always are)
    4. Factory Floor (Was not big on the album, but live they were quite good)
    5. Slowdive (Not familiar with a lot of their music, but it was a solid set)

    - Dum Dum Girls are boring live.
    - Musically, Deafheaven are cool, but I can't get past the shrieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeking vocals.
    - The lead singer of Perfect Pussy is cute in a Carey Mulligan kind of way. PP's set was kind of fun, but her vocals were either too low or overrun with distortion, I couldn't hear her.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

    That's an understatement

You didn't watch the Field, Jon Hopkins, or The Haxan Cloak?

I watched part of The Haxan Cloak's set, that kind of music is just not made for sunny afternoons. A little of it went a long way.

Didn't see the other two, not a fan.

So that was a fun weekend. Best weather since 2009 hands down. The queen of low vocals was FKA Twigs, could not hear shit, and considering how bass heavy the music is, I wonder how the record will be.

I had lots of fun at this festival. Haxan Cloak reminded me of Coil. The set up was great, the people were so friendly, loved goose island, overall it was lots of fun.

It was odd the endless line of photographers crowding in to photograph the Dum Dum Girls. It was very odd to watch.

They had that whole free corner with a free arcade set up by Jim Beam, free twinkies and stuff from hostess, free tacos and water from Chipotle, free frozen Keefer bars, free shirts from hit and run, free fans and other swag from Johnny Appleseed cider, etc.

I liked the variety of activities, the arts and crafts fair, the record swap meet, the poster fair (flat stock), the strange starring contest and free haircut (they choose) from Ray Ban.

I also enjoyed the Sharon Van Etten and Pitchfork exclusive beers Goose Island provided.

It was interesting that people sneaking in jumped the fence and then used the top of the porta potty on the other side to bounce into the festival.

Really odd to watch me and everyone else doing their job? They werent in pasties, so that was a relief. Best sneak in was early saturday and a guy jumped the fence ( with beer in hand ) bounced off a porta potty and kept running. Did not spill one drop. The worst was a bunch of kids getting taken out of the festival in handcuffs. i have photos, but thats not the kind of thing to post. Theyre finally cracking down on the smoking it seems. Blue stage is notorious for everyone to sit down, get in a circle and pass around a joint. Security would confront people, and gave em a choice it seems. either give up their stash and pipe, or leave. Another bad moment was some kid who ended up getting taken down by security right by vip, and a giant crew of kids were ready to pounce on the guards if it got out of hand ( which it did not ). People around me thought it was ''excessive'' for taking somebody down to the ground. I dont think they understand thats how theyre trained.

    Oh, and more photos

Nice photos. I wanted to smash that Kevin Spacey sign.
