I can't wait to see them! I really like "Make it known" from Take the kids off Broadway record.

Love the last two albums. Saw them open up for Unknown Mortal Orchestra at Echoplex last year and they were a fucking disaster. Not sure if they were wasted or what. Performance was all over the place - I hated it.

However, I will probably give them another chance, barring conflicts.

I'm gonna lose my mother fucking shit when they play this:

The way the lead singer channels Jim Morrison makes my bloomers moist.

I hope they play half of a tight set and then the alcohol kicks in and they melt down.

2 Foxygen experiences for the price of one.

This band has a ton of promise but a lot of kinks to work out. The lead singer tries too hard to be a throwback front man and the audience interactions were very awkward. Their sound was also a bit muddied. However, they write really good songs and have a lot of fun and energy on stage. I dug the dancing back-up singers. Overall, I enjoyed the set but I suspect that once they develop some performance chops, their shows will be can't miss affairs.
I have been to concerts. I will go to concerts in the future.

I really enjoyed their set. The backup singers were a nice touch! Totally agree about the sound. I wish they would have performed "No Destruction", but overall I had a good time. Also, Shaun's solo record Diane Coffee is worth checking out!

I really felt for him since he was so stationary in that heat.
