I know this will only be relevant to a handful of people here, but I was excited about this lineup posted today and am most likely going to attend.
even though it's a bunch of leftovers from last year, I really like this lineup. I'd probably attend if I was in a better financial situation.
it's a vast improvement from last year, which was only 2 days. they're certainly not ahead of the curve or bringing anything new to the table, but this is going to be only the 2nd one, and it's encouraging.
here's last year:
it's only $150/169 for tickets, so there's definitely some value here. what exactly is Atlantic Station?
That's a very nice lineup.
not Outkast? I know they are playing Conterpoint, but I assumed that they were just waiting for Counterpoint to sell some tickets before announcing them.
haha, rad. that's almost exactly what I posted when I shared the lineup poster on facebook.
This appears to be the exclusive non-outkast festival this year.
The weather would be nice that time of year. Not a bad line up for something of that size.
so, it's in a strip mall?
oops, missed the apartments and office buildings part, but that still seems like a really odd location.
The collection of artists/bands for this is amazing, and I'm debating going.
This is only twenty minutes from me, so it's tempting to go. The lineup makes me a little nervous, though. Now that it's three days, I could see one of them being really bleak if the lineup falls a certain way.
So what part of Atlanta is Atlantic Station in?
Man, this festival is built for me. I'd like to see basically everything in the first 12 lines. If I wasn't broke, I'd be buying plane tickets.
I live in ATL.
We bought the early birds for Shanky for $99 and that turned out to be a great decision.
Will be interesting to have it at Atlantic Station. Last year it was a the Masquerade music park and it was super muddy. This one should be on concrete. There is a big area by Atlantic station where they have food festivals/ Cirque de Solei, the ATL Tennis Open, etc. I honestly just don't know if there's enough room though.
As for MARTA. Don't do it. Marta sucks. Download an App called "Uber". You're welcome.
They added The Replacements!
Damn that's a nice looking lineup, and with the Replacements addition, it's tempting to dump this Coachella pass and go to Atlanta instead.
Day by day breakdown poster. Replacement are sub headliners below modest Mouse.
Strikes me as a low billing for such an exclusive booking, unless it was booked after others were promised the top line.
The Replacements aren't as big as Modest Mouse even with the so called exclusivity. This is my favorite lineup out of any American festival, and it's cheap.
