Yeah, I'd be surprised if any of them were actually on the bill, but I think either one could fit in nicely with FYF.

Can we at least agree that The Juan Maclean needs to be at FYF this year?

I mean... I'd get behind any of those four being there... (although The Juan Maclean does seem the most fitting of those four)

Huge longshot, but I was just thinking this morning that Portishead would be a great fit for FYF.

I am just going to assume that there will be a super shitty lineup this year, and Hopefully I get pleasantly surprised

They would be a phenomenal fit as a headliner. Their set at Glasto last year was the most eerie and beautiful spectacle. Shivers.

Agreed. That's what I am hoping for. I'll take the Juan Maclean in any form at FYF being I haven't seen them/him in over 6 years, but I'd be disappointed if they book them and it's not a live set.

Portishead would be a great headliner.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Horrors or Interpol were on the bill either.

The dance card is shaping up really nicely for this:

add Daniel Avery to your expectations.

    9/12: Shifted @ Mercer
    9/24 - 28: Decibel Festival
    10/3-5: Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival
    10/4: Ought @ BoH
10/5: The War on Drugs, Cass McCombs @ The Fillmore
    10/18-19: Treasure Island Music Festival

Would you like the ticket price to jump up again, and then not come back down the following year when the headliners arent as big?

I'm excited for FYF this summer. They should try to get GusGus to perform in the states. It's been too long. Maybe not the best fit, but fuck it.

I'm on board with this. He played HARD Summer last year, and while it left something to be desired in the beginning, it was quite enjoyable. After listening to his Essential Mix, I have high hopes if this happens.

Don't know for sure, but it's been well over 10 years I believe. The group has gone through many changes since then too.

    ha!

I think before that it was the Purity Ring spot.

Bigger question is, who takes the Simian Mobile Disco spot this year?

Yeahs, the last couple of albums were excellent but I always gravitate towards Attention and Forever.
