And I have no problem with this being held near the Coliseum. It's very accessible by train on the expo line. It's definitely more of a pain in the butt for me personally since I live 2 stops away from Chinatown on the Gold Line but this will be pretty simple for most people to manage transferring from the Red line to the Expo.
Yea, the Expo line will make it super easy to get to this. I am pretty stoked if it ends up here at USC.

I would love for it to be at Whittier Narrows, not because it makes sense but because it so close to where I live. By the way I was just there yesterday, feeding the ducks with my daughter. I was taking a look at the park and it's surrounding area, and can't imagine how they are gonna set this up. They have carnivals and other types of festivals there all the time but can't imagine how things are going to be set up for HARD or FYF if they end up having it there. Traffic is going to be a fucking nightmare. The logistics people are going to have a lot on their plate for a festival of this scale. We'll see what happens.

What Pitchfork crossover would you expect on the lineup? I like that lineup a lot, but not enough to fly to Chicago for it, so hoping for a decent crossover at FYF.

Meh. Surely St. Vincent, too? LA shows sold out ridiculously fast and she's not playing Coachella, so she's sure to come back at some point.

Kendrick Lamar doesn't have an upcoming LA show, either, from what I recall. Maybe?

Does FYF Sean jizz over Kendrick? Ever talked about him? Then you have your answer. Kendrick is more likely to play Odd Future Carnival.

Add Jon Hopkins, Mutual Benefit and Cloud Nothings for crossover. And also, we should consider Slint as a lock. Fyf was pushing that documentary big time, usually a good gauge of whats coming.

Hearing the new site is at Expo Park. Looking it up on google earth I don't understand how that's going to work but it's right off the expo line so the train from Culver City will be convenient.

I would be incredibly happy with all of these, and they seem very appropriate.

For bigger names I'd be happy if FYF booked any or all of Pendulum, Basement Jaxx and Soulwax.

This is just making me lol at remembering whomever it was on the board that was all "yo, Soulwax is definitely going to have a new album out in time for Coachella... they like cancelled gigs and such to work on it"...

That aside, I don't know that I see any of these happening!
