Too bad. Muscle Museum was what I was really truly hoping for, always been my favorite. I think I'll catch the first few songs then head to Nas.

    Oooof. That's saying something.

But I gotta say the singalong was a little magical.

And I knew the sound was off on the streaming last night!!!! I can't believe how windy it was all weekend. Was it sandy?

Damn matts voice is shot in the w1 videos. Hope he's better next week.

I thought they did well despite all the sound issues and matts laryngitis I agree with what someone said about the sound being fine up front the only time I couldn't really hear was when he was running to the back to do starlight and the mic cut out. Overall I've been a fan for sometime and this was the first opportunity to watch them in person I've seen streaming performances but I was happy with it and Lithium was legit and had the whole crowd going crazy. Love them. Hoping they get some better weather for weekend two

i fucking love muse, and I believe I met muse radio up front. Someone told me that this would be their 15th time seeing muse so I'm assuming your the same person

Muse will definitely be better weekend 2. Their crowd was on the smaller side (idk about smaller than Blur) especially before Pharrell's crowd wandered over, but some of that is because people left early and/or wanted to hang out in tents due to the storm. Overall with the sound and weather issues I thought they did as good a job as possible.

It was cool to hear Butterflies and Agitated, and there was enough nostalgia associated with the band for me to have a good time. The crowd around me was just not energetic though. And, given the setlist at Lolla last week, I was expecting at least New Born. Though, it was really, really, refreshing to see a Muse set without Supermassive Black Hole, Panic Station, United States Of Eurasia, Feeling Good, etc.

    9/21 - Arsis @ New Royal Dive
    10/28 - Tycho @ North Park Theatre
10/30 - The Rural Alberta Advantage @ Soda Bar
    11/4 - United Nations @ Los Globos
    11/12 - DFA 1979 @ House Of Blues
11/14 - The Presets @ North Park Theatre
    11/29 - Cake @ Del Mar

I was up close and the sound still wasn't perfect(way better sound and crowd energy at OSL in my opinion). I was also really tired by this point so I kind of wish Skrillex did play after. Still, it was a majestic show with a kinda weird but cool setlist.

Does anyone know why it seemed like half the time the screens weren't the typical super HD we're used to seeing at Coachella?

Cheers friend, that's just the audio stream though. I've downloaded that and listened to it several times. Hell, I listened to it twice today.

Not understanding this "wind ruing the set" commentary. I was in front of the sound board and heard no cut outs at all. i just remember them waiting for 40 seconds in between songs or something but other than that i thought the sounded amazing. Great set list too
Superfan will be in front of the Fonda masturbating furiously to a photo of him taking a photo of a band. Set is from 8:05 to approximately 8:05:15. Guest list only.

Upcoming Shows: Nocturnal Wonderland Saturday, Cut Chemist/Dj Shadow - Palladium, Massive Attack SB Bowl, Festival Supreme, Coachella 2015

So bummed I missed this. I wanted to go but the dust, wind and cold was kicking my ass. I thought that they would play a set heavy on their newer material so I left without checking them out and it's my biggest Coachella regret!

It's not on AXS yet so I'm assuming you're there and got your phone out just to post this.

If so, that's fucking lame. Enjoy the phone, get off your phone.

Any day of the week! Granted I don't know what 5 riffs you guys apparently got, but I know how epic they can be having witnessed their Staples Center gig from 2010 that had.......Stockholm Syndrome + School riff + Execution Commentary riff + Township Rebellion riff + Agitated intro riff + Agitated outro riff + War Within a Breath riff + Negative Creep riff + Dead Star riff + Endless Nameless riff. 13 fucking minutes of awesome! But I'm still pretty confident we got the better week, so take thaaaat you weekend 2 suckers =P

Comparing wkd 1 to wkd 2 is silly when both performances are pale shadows of what this band is truly capable.

My main gripe is still the sound/Matt's laryngitis, QOTSA and Josh sounded so much tighther W1.

I just hope they carry this over into the recording of their new album. I gladly welcome the return of heavy Muse.

Definitely a weaker set than weekend 1 but in my 5th time seeing them I FINALLY got to see Bliss live so I'm happy.

This. And just hope that Matt didn't permanently fuck his voice the last couple weeks.

Matt Bellamy is divorcing his wife right? Hopefully the heartbrake will cause him to write some decent songs again.

I don't think I've ever felt worse watching a musician perform prior to this show. When he softly said "I wish I could" in Stockholm Syndrome rather than the usual scream, it just got to me. The way I see it, he basically said "I can't sing for you, but I'll shred like crazy". And he did. It was the strangest and shortest set I've seen from them, but I'm not even upset about it. I really hope he didn't permanently damage his vocal chords because of these shows though.

The size of Muse's crowd & the wind/dust made no difference to the quality of the set for W1. They were fantastic in every way.
