What songs have they written since their 2010 Coachella gig that will fans want to hear?

Probably gonna base my decision on what they play at Lolla Brazil the week before.

Realistically the best we can hope for is the exclusion of
    Undisclosed Desires
    United States of Eurasia
    Guiding Light
    Unsustainable
    Animals
Save Me/Liquid State (please Chris, don't)

    and the inclusion of:
    Map of the Problematique
    Bliss
    Sunburn
    Agitated/Yes Please
    Butterflies and Hurricanes
and maaaybe Dead Star or my namesake

Or maybe I'm wrong and they play everyone's favorite and open with this perfect intro like at Lolla '07. But the top 2 or so singles from each album post-Showbiz aren't going anywhere. Man I really don't like Panic Station.

I'm taking it personal if they omit Bliss this time. Seen these guys a handful of times since 2006 and they always seem to play it the next night. For one evening can we just forget Resistance and the 2nd Law exist.

It's been 10 years since I've heard them play that, and Space Dementia... both were at the same show in Chicago. Probably my favorite gig of theirs, outside of seeing them in a 150 person bar here in Cincinnati where they played "The Groove".... that shit hit me like a ton of bricks.

I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't play Time is Running Out and Knights of Cydonia.

All of them, you say? Damn, I can't wait for "Uno" and "Cave".

Seriously though, I'll settle for "Muscle Museum" these days.

Citizen Erased was a really nice surprise at Outside Lands a few years ago, but I've not sure they've been playing it on this tour. Hell, I'm not even sure they're playing New Born much anymore, which is just bullshit.

Showbiz the song would be amazing, but you know, this is the 2014 Muse we're dealing with and all.

They rotate between New Born and Stockholm. Which is still bullshit.

You are on a very lonely island if you aren't trolling, my friend.

Why do all you people forget that Muse hasn't been a good band in over 6 years? "Oh, Woo-hoo they play their shitty songs with energy! They are a don't miss set!"

Such arena super-band. Big U2 of generation. Powerful powerful rifts. Bellamy & his synthesizer makes large cream for me. Such high notes. Such ballad cream.

    But such rifts too.

My first full set at Coachella in 2004 and it was something like 104*... Made the mistake of going back to our tent in 2010, so I only heard parts of the set in the campgrounds. That will not happen this year, or there will be Madness, all right... maybe even Hysteria...
Its like the Infinite Monkey Theorem, if you put X amount of monkeys in a room with a typewriter and ask them to give you Shakespeare 99% of them will fling their shit at you while the other 1% will masturbate in the corner.

You may not like their latest albums, but live they still put on an amazing show, if you are denying that then it is you with the problem.

Muse have been forced to cancel a show in Sao Paulo, Brazil today (Thursday 3 April, 2014) due to illness.
The gig was a sideshow for their upcoming headline slot at Lollapalooza Brazil this weekend, but now the band have issued a statement on their official website claiming that illness has taken its toll, but they still hope to play the festival:
    "TO OUR FANS IN BRAZIL,
"IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT WE HAVE TO CANCEL THE SHOW TOMORROW (THURSDAY 3rd APRIL) AT GRAND METROPOLE HERE IN SAO PAULO DUE TO ILLNESS.
"IT IS OUR HOPE THAT WITH THE ADDITIONAL REST, WE WILL BE ABLE TO ASSURE THE LOLLAPALOOZA SHOW ON SATURDAY GOES AHEAD AS PLANNED.
"THE TICKET HOLDERS FOR THIS CANCELLED SHOW CAN REFER TO THE DETAILS BELOW.
    "WITH REGRET,
    "MATT. DOM. CHRIS"

On their albums they are just an average band. Indeed, well below average on their last two albums. But they're a whole different animal live. Some bands just play live because it's what you do. You have to promote your album, you have to make a living selling overpriced T-shirts, you have to stay in the public eye, so you tour. But some bands truly love to play live, and it gives their show a certain type of energy that can't be faked. Muse is one of those bands.

They let Chris do one of his songs like every show last year, they'll probably give him one here. Which is shame, since Liquid State might actually be decent if Matt sang it.

I'm sure whatever they play at Lolla BR is what they'll play here, minus one or two of the good songs.
