Unfortunately,that other thread was too old to be bumped and was lost in the sands of time. Meanwhile someone WAS able to bump this thread and was able to make us look like total smegheads when in actuality we had wished John happy b-day. Fate is a cruel cruel thing.

This is now the official "Happy <insert holiday or special occasion here>, John" thread. It needs to be fed and watered every so often, and I'd suggest bumping it on at least a weekly basis. This will allow us to avoid dueling b-day threads, and also serve as a catch-all for other holidays, so if, for example, someone feels particularly strongly about passing out Arbor Day greetings, they have a vehicle for doing so.
