Wall of sound , it was one of the top ten shows at the fest . These guys rock.
Spicy pie is mainstream shit.
looking forward to it, haven't heard of them but listened to about 30 seconds on Youtube of one of their songs and it was right down my alley. going in there blind pretty much!
Agreed - well worth the effort to get in at noon, especially with Factory Floor right after.
The new song was incredible live too
Pretty disappointed that I had no idea who there guys were and slept in from partying too much on Saturday night. Damn.
"Mr. Toad's Wild Aidz."
Made my top 10 list too. Fucking great. psycho shit.
I am still trying to decide if this set is my number 1 or number 2 of the weekend. Either way, it was fucking phenomenal. One of the best live bands in the worst right now for sure. If anyone was up close watching, I was tall dude standing directly next to the bassist when he got in to the crowd.
I'm really hoping these reviews get more people to go to their set during Weekend 2, because this band deserves the exposure and positive press.
They're also opening for Temples in LA tonight if anyone is going to that.
Was planning on catching this. Didn't get on the field until 2:-(
Always wear a helmut
Bahahahahaha. Yup! That was me. I was having such a good time rocking out right there.
Also, killer shot! His wild-eyed stare was completely hypnotic.
EDIT: Here is the "selfie" I took during Bo Ningen. He was there for a good 4-5 minutes and after having him there for so long and seeing so many people taking pictures and filming… I couldn't resist but to take my own. This is the first selfie I have ever taken at a show, and I think the result is pretty fantastic.
Damn. Didn't make it. My son slept in and wanted his iHOP badly.
I have been to concerts. I will go to concerts in the future.
Someone on YouTube posted this really clear sounding video, one which features a certain Canadian rocking out in the bottom-left of the screen
Fuck yeah. Thanks for finding that. That video certainly does have a great sound quality… it still doesn't capture the intensity of the live show and how god damn heavy they were though. I am looking forward to more videos from this set being uploaded.

Walked up near the end and they were just starting their 1chord-wall-of-sound-for-10-minutes. I wasn't getting it at all so I walked over to James Vincent. I wish I would have gotten there earlier.
^ Post/upload it! There are precious few vids from their set
Ugh, I really need to see them again soon - that Wk. 1 set is burned into my brain
