God I hate Skrillex but if he played the Main stage for annnny reason what so ever I hope Nas is on at the same time on the Outdoor stage.

Im going for Nas will be closing out the Outdoor stage or having the same spot as J5 and around 10:45-11:30 on the Outdoor with someone like Lorde closing out the Outdoor.

He played solo at a festival here in Korea last summer.
He was with a DJ and a drummer.

This. If Earl and ASAP can close a stage, I say Nas can, too. That and I'm just hoping for a set longer than 45 minutes.

Nas on the Outdoor (If Muse closes the main stage) Mojave (If Skrillex closes the Main Stage)

I need him to run through the hits.

Seen him 4 times (2x Solo, 2X w/ DM) and he's been great each time. Both times with DM he forgot lyrics but it didn't ruin the show for me.

I think it's just because STS9 has a huge following in Colorado and usually play 2-3 nights of Red Rocks every year. Nas played a venue here 2 months after that show for 80$ which was way more then the Red Rocks show was.

Skrillex' sound bleed could really fuck up the groove for nas. Hip Hop is all about staying in rhythm and dub step slapping bass at different times than the bass hit at nas would make for a terrible live experience. I expect Skrillex to be one of the loudest sets ever on the MainStage.

Saw Nas at North Coast last year and he was great. Did a greatest hits type set with just a DJ and drummer as someone mentioned before. He played almost all of Illmatic and only one track off Life Is Good I think. If there are no conflicts I will be seeing him again for sure, hopefully closing a tent

When the line-up dropped seeing Nas surprised me the most. Good one Goldenvoice. Very very sneaky. I don't think anybody was expecting him to be at Coachella this year.

he definitely won't do Ether which is a bummer but i think 75% of his set will come from Illmatic, Stillmatic, and God's Son. can't fucking wait for this. if he closes the outdoor or mojave that'd be perfect since he'd have an hour rather than 40 minutes.
illmatic in it's entirety + assorted other hits = best set of the weekend

That's why musicians wear monitors. So they can hear themselves.

Nas and Premier doing Illmatic in its entirety at BUKU. Does this mean anything for his coachella set?

^He's been doing that in performances for the past 3 years. He did exactly that at Rock the bells '11

I know he's done it before, but I was not sure if he had done it for a whole tour or consecutive shows of any sort. This being its 20th anniversary and all I'm wondering if it will continue over. I'll be seeing Premier next week with Pete Rock but I'd kill to see him do a set with Nas on the polo grounds

Looks like it is happening at Coachella

On April 15, Nas will release Illmatic XX, which includes a remasterd copy of the original album and a disc of remixes, demos and freestyles. In support, Nas will tour the U.S., performing Illmatic in its entirety; so far, only appearances at Washington, DC’s Kennedy Center and Coachella have been announced."

Nas has announced plans to release a 20th Anniversary edition of his classic debut album, Illmatic. The reissue, Illmatic XX, will feature a bonus disc containing rare remixes, demos, and freestyles. Illmatic XX is out April 15 via Sony Legacy. Check out the tracklist below, and listen to the Stink Mix of "It Ain't Hard to Tell" over at Rap Genius.
Time Is Illmatic, a feature-length documentary about the making of the album, will also be released in 2014, directed by One9 and Erik Parker.
Nas will tour the U.S. in the spring, performing Illmatic from front to back. The tour kicks off with a show at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and includes stops at both weekends of Coachella. More info on the tour will be announced soon.
