Anyone see him live before? One of my favorite finds of this weekend, but I have a feeling he'll be conflicting with someone I want to see more.
Loved the Heartbreak Hotel intro.
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Set was awesome. Took a snapped a photo and chatted with Sam Smith for a bit during his set as well. Very awesome experience.
Just got home from the GAMH show as well. Slayed it, slayed it. The musicianship of not just Dev Hynes, but his whole band is fantastic. Samantha Urbani, swoon.
"Time Will Tell" is such a fantastic closer. Stopped in front of me and my group when he crooned it in the audience. Got to pat him in the back. Neat stuff.
I was hoping to just knock this out and miss him at Coachella, but I'm seriously reconsidering that at this point. Might have to double dip.
Yeah. I thought everyone was aces. I have to say Samantha was sharp a lot of the time on the coachella webcast. Not sure if it was the heat or what, but she did a fantastic job tonight. Time Will Tell was an awesome sing along. The crowd was great. Singing along and dancing. The sax and bass player deserve a special nod.
I'm surprised he isn't selling any merchandise at his shows. not even the album. dude recently lost everything he owns, you think he'd be trying to rake a little money in, but no.
this was exactly what I needed, thick bass, sexy sax, amazing frontman ...only complaint is they should have been in the Gobi, all draped and chandeliered ...perfect for making out, not that being in the outdoor stopped me
Some of the best stuff I've heard in a min. Caught him on webcast not knowing anything about him, downloaded Cupid deluxe last night. Really really good.
this was great, perfect set time/stage/weather
