i'll have to re-visit that album. i wasn't into it at all, but it didn't have anything to do with those reasons.

The whole album was a pretty great Weezer ripoff. The only reason it got overlooked was because of the whole John Paul Pitts domestic battery case. Quite a shame, because the album's pretty good.

    Future Islands!!!

Wye Oak is incredible live. I read they added more musicians, but at Sasquatch, Andy played drums and keyboard at the same time, while Jenn shredded and sang like a fireball.

Washed Out's live show has matured a lot. They play more instruments now and set a great vibe.

    This video is amazing...

Bear Hands - Burning Bush Supper Club is a great fucking album

Some good recommendations in this thread. I've now added Bear Hands, Saints of Valory, and the Drowners to my list. How about these guys? Music sounds great, and they look like they might be a great show!

I arrived in America's airport with clothings, US dollars, and a jar of gypsy tears to protect me from AIDS.

All the good indie rock acts have been mentioned already. Can't wait for Washed Out and Blood Orange. What about electronic music? Doesn't anyone care about the unknown acts that might appear in the Sahara tent? I guess I'm one of the few weirdos who enjoys both indie rock and electronic music.

That being said, I can't wait for UZ and RL Grime. Trap shit that you can't help but dance to...

    UZ

    RL Grime

And for those who swear all electronic music sucks, check out Flume:

I saw them supporting the National and they were incredibly boring live.
Andy played drums and keyboards like he was a one armed drummer and a one armed keyboard player - badly.
    Singer didnt impress either, unfortunately.
