If I was booking Coachella....
Tool (assuming their new album will be out)
The Strokes > Radiohead (see above)
I'm imagining that these are possibilities:
Florence and the Machine

You have a big imagination.
GV please finally book The War on Drugs, new LP is excellent
Coachella rarely has 3 alt/rock acts headlining (with the exception of 2013).
Plus, I'd have to check but I doubt Florence would headline. I'm pretty sure Bjork was the last woman to headline and that was years ago when coachella wasn't as mainstream.
Basically, if Lana or Lorde couldn't headline, Florence doesn't have much of a chance.
Coldplay has played in 2005 so not out of the realm of possibility, but they are exactly repeat performers.
AFAIK U2 hasn't and unless there is something I don't know I see no reason why next year should be any different.
Personally, I am more tempted to believe Massive Attack might play and possibly headline. Massive Attack is playing Treasure Island and historically every year a couple of artists playing Treasure Island have also ended up playing Coachella later in April (Grimes, Beck, etc.). Massive Attack has played Coachella before but not recently. Admittedly this is all speculation and I could be wrong, but I would be very surprised if no one at Treasure Island ends up also playing Coachella.
The Cure / Beyonce / with Foo Fighters or Tool would be pretty cool and close to ideal.
Is Massive Attack big enough in the U.S. to headline Coachella? I honestly don't know enough about them.
U2 is more likely than Bowie at this point. I'd be really surprised if either Coldplay or U2 aren't one of the headliners.
How about Bruce Springsteen? Not a good fit?

Do you guys really think GV would go with Tool as a headliner? They've seem to disappear over the years in popularity. The way Coachella has been evolving, they would be more primed to headline Riot fest or something of that sorts.
Tears for fears !!

Big fucking mystery, that one. Let us know when you get to the bottom of it.
How people on here still go by the quasi-mythical Coachella headliner formula is beyond me.
AVICII on the mainstage, Hardwell, Afrojack, Martin Garrix rounding out the Sahara headliners. Sigh.
I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member...
