NINE INCH NAILS
These predictions for headliners are always the WORST
A bunch of Holograms bringing fake uber-hyped collaborators at the end of the 3rd weekend.
Coachella: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012w1, 2012w2, 2013w1, 2014w1
A little too late but since I am at it again ...
A. Pop Cheese Justin Timberlake - imagine all the surprise and not so surprising guests he would invite Weekends 1 & 2
But if Coachella will take a little break with too many starlet celebrities invading Coachella just to be seen and it is more about serious chill music and going back to it's roots ...
B. David Bowie - imagine all the real cool artists / musicians , not even invited to perform but will come because of him. ... I am pretty sure once they get DB, there will be less or no superstar pop & EDM cheeses. That does not mean though an end to starlet & pop superstars celebrities inviting themselves to Coachella.
Or none of the above.
C. Continue with the now new tradition, EDM cheeses like David Guetta or some Calvin Harris and Pharrell clones. Tee-hee.
Anyway, not bashing or whining, it will be a mix of everything with something I will love as I do enjoy all of them so I am going with whatever in 2015. I always thought I knew already the Coachella lineup booking formula. Really hard. I will just be following all your guesses / predictions.
Edit: D. Regardless of the musical lineup, just a wild guess, we will probably see some superstar celebrity chefs in yet another food area or The Terrace next year.
Someday a name change to Coachella Valley Music, Arts & Food Festival?

Spoon Aug 8 Hollywood
Kasabian Oct 8 Wiltern
The Horrors Oct 14 Santa Ana
my thoughts as of now (with 9 months until the line up is released) are something with a combination of :
Foo Fighters/The Killers
The National/Kendrick Lamar
But then again, in November when rumors start flying this will change.
Calvin Harris Hologram
Daft Punk is closing out the main stage on Sunday. Rihanna is going at the same time on at the outdoor theater. Out of nowhere Rihanna brings out a fake Calvin Harris and everyone leaves Daft Punk to run over and watch.

I can't wait for the bro's to be disappointed in the lineup next year....it's gonna be classic i can feel it.
unless GV screws us over.
Possibility of Paul McCartney returning? Would his brief west coast stint in August (Dodger Stadium and Candlestick Park) help or hurt the chances?

If going to be a legend headliner, get the others still out there that have a shot of producing something similar - Neil Young, REM, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, etc., etc.
The Replacements - Bryan Ferry - Outkast - The Knife - Dum Dum Girls - Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Broken Bells - Haim - Neko Case - Jagwar Ma - Goat - Waxahatchee
Queens Of The Stone Age - Pet Shop Boys - Chvrches - Mogwai - Warpaint - Washed Out - Future Islands - Ty Seagall - Darkside - Foxygen
Beck - Neutral Milk Hotel - Superchunk - Arcade Fire - Bombino - Daughter - Surfer Blood
Just FYI Stevie Wonder doesn't have it anymore. It would be sad to watch him struggle up there.
Not a fan but pretty sure Lily Allen will be in the Ellie/Lana spot next year. New album is pretty fucking terrible
It's too early to predict but oh well....
Robyn & Robyskopp
Any substantial rumors, or is everyone just guessing? If you had to put money on three headliners, who would they be?
