Duo Dj set with Brian Eno.

Seriously though, I need to at least hear Avalon, More Then This and Slave to Love.

Pretty sure the jazz band thing has a different billing. I hope it's a normal set of Roxy Music...music....

It's weird, I'm a huge Roxy Music fan but I've never really listened to Ferry's solo stuff. Does he play Roxy material? And what's his best album? He's got a ton.

Looks like he's ditched More Than This, but still plays Avalon and some other Roxy songs, including one of my favorites, Take a Chance With Me. http://www.setlist.fm/search?query=bryan+ferry

most recent sets have been the bryan ferry orchestra. setlists are few and far between but it looks like mostly roxy hits with some solo sprinkled in.

Will definitely slip down the priority list if it is the Bryan Ferry Orchestra; does he even sing in that setup . . . he didn't on the Jazz Age album.

not sure. setlist.fm has him playing bryan ferry shows, bryan ferry orchestra shows and bryan ferry feat. the bryan ferry orchestra. all within 2 weeks of each other back in movember. very confusing.

    Looks like a mix of solo/covers/Roxy = http://www.setlist.fm/setlists/bryan...-73d6ee65.html

Also looks like More Than This has been jettisoned.

don't jinx it, Granny Panties, like you did to Lou Reed last year. Looks like he's been closing with that song. Hopin for 'Dreamhome', 'Its all over now baby blue' cover, 'Ladytron'.

I'll take the same playlist he did at his last show in England. Great Roxy stuff and great covers (he did Smoke Gets in Your Eyes on his first solo album in 1974).

I'm intrigued by it and I'm sure it'd be interesting. But if I'm gonna hear Bryan Ferry for the first time, it'd be nice for it to sound like Bryan Ferry.

not really news, but here's an email from the bowl that might give us more an idea of what kind of set he's going to play:

The talented Bryan Ferry will be performing at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Saturday, April 19. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 24th at 11 a.m. and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets.

British musical icon Bryan Ferry has announced his first North American Tour in three years. The “Can’t Let Go Tour” will feature an incredible set list of hits, favorites and rarities spanning 40 years of career highlights.

Currently, Ferry is in the studio working on new material, having been inspired by last year’s release of the acclaimed album The Jazz Age with The Bryan Ferry Orchestra. In addition, his music is reaching a new audience with remixes and remakes of his classics by artists such as Groove Armada and Todd Terje.

Don’t miss your chance to experience musical icon Bryan Ferry at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Saturday, April 19, 2014, plus special guest.
Any idea who the guest might be?
