You guys get me. Also with last years booking of Kurt Vile and Wavves, I think there's hope.

OSL has the potential of having the best festival lineup of the year. We soon shall see if they fuck it up.

    Truly.

I'm starting to think its - Kanye, PJ and Bruce.
Eddie has become even better pals with Bruce while in Australia the past month.

Given that I can't go this year, that would destroy me. Tough to think of three headliners I'd rather see at OSL. It'd be damn impressive.

Those three headliners would be nuts...tough to see it actually happening though. What is influencing you to think that?

Ticket prices did go up right? So they technically could have spent more on bands.

It's been mentioned several times, but just to add my voice; the shuttle really is excellent. Runs from Bill Graham every twenty minutes or so. Time it right (i.e don't queue up for the very first bus) and you can waltz straight up, hop on a bus, hop off and walk in with a minimum of queuing. Coming back afterwards is a bit more laborious, but still, not that much of a hassle and you can have a wee snooze on the way home.

What I always do is get a hotel somewhere downtown, and either walk along to Civic or take the BART and then get the shuttle. I'll do that again this year.

There are no stops on the shuttle - so if you are staying closer to the park than the Bill Graham then I'd suggest you look for alternatives, but otherwise, I thoroughly recommend it.

I really think that is the most likely trio of headliners. PJ was great back when they were here back in 2009, Bruce is a legend that I've always wanted to see, and as annoying as I find Kanye to be, he is extremely talented and put on a great show at Coachella a couple years back.

Just a word of advice. Market is a pretty busy street but the civic center area can be shady at night, depending on where you have to walk...

Also, the Hold Steady have to be playing, right? They still have not announced the second leg of their tour and have no west coast dates.

I don't think we are going to get Bruce, Kanye, and PJ. That seems too expensive for OSL, but now I'm starting to sound like Bumblebee.

Also, Against Me announced a tour today and they are doing 5 California shows but no Bay Area date. I would put them as likely to be there.

The only part that is not so fun down there is eddy and turk, and 6th street. other than that most people will not bother you especially if you are in a group.

This is a page to keep an eye on for likely artists. Ray and London Grammar seem to be near locks (seeing them at the indy tonight!!), Father John is always a blast but played in 2012.

Bruce and Eddie have been great friends for years, Aus was a great touring coincedence earlier this year. But still, I like the way you think.

I would think that McCartney, RHCP and NIN last year would be as expensive if not more than the three proposed for this year. Guess we'll see soon enough.

Right on, dude. No reason to get snappy. I can't read your age over the internet. fwiw three of the shows from my post I mentioned did not have age limits. Glad you finally get to see him, he's amazing and you're going to love it.

Bruce and Kayne would be two great gets. Would also love to see Elton John as the third. (bro, you're going to play in Tennessee but not SF? What the actual fuck?)

I think it will be either Bruce or Elton, not both.

I guess they did do the two legend headliners in 2012 with Crazy Horse & Stevie Wonder.

Also I was just reminiscing over how great Stevie Wonder's set was in 2012.
