I had one bro yell during Paul McCartney's set "Hey Paul play another Beatles song or I'm gonna go to Pretty Lights". Soon after he was bombarded with people telling him to stfu and surely he did.

Other than that I haven't had many issues with people talking...maybe you guys should move closer to the stage?

It's never been an issue of proximity to the stage. This is a discussion that doesn't need to be rehashed, however.

    True. Moving on...

    Lionel Richie and/or Cee Lo?
Cee Lo could play solo and with Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley), and Lionel Richie seems like a fit for the fest. Their only NorCal date is in Concord which is in early June and is 30 miles outside of SF.

Ah yeah, Cee Lo! The best thing about his performance at Coachella some years back was that it was only 10 minutes long!

They'd definitely play near the end of the day at either Twin Peaks or Sutro considering bands like Washed Out and Chromatics closed out Panhandle the past two years and Chvrches are already a lot bigger than them.

Not so sure it's about size as much as it is a legitimate alternative to whichever veteran act closes the main stage. I agree, they'd do a nice little turn in the Chromatics position from last year - i.e a show for the ones shunning the main stage closer for a couple of under the radar sets. By all accounts Yeasayer into Chromatics was a nice wee quiet ending to an evening. I took in Macca instead though.

Or that. It's probably not likely because they'd be going from Canada and then back to Canada the next day, just me being hopeful!

OSL seems pretty content on not bringing in repeat headliners. They didn't do it with Radiohead and it seemed like a reasonable time for them to do so, so I really don't see them repeating with Arcade Fire.

You understand the concept of needing time to travel, yes? Border crossing, customs, and production trucks not being allowed to travel more than a certain amount of time per day? Also, since youre a fucking idiot, theyre already playing in the bay area a week before. So let us know when you look more like a dumbshit when the line up doesnt have their name on it.

radiohead doesn't play the same festival on consecutive tours by choice, but it'll be pretty impressive if OSL continues their run of booking new headliners into the next few years.

Went back and shuffled through all previous year lineups. After noting the frequency (or infrequency) of repeats, wanted to throw out some other bands that may fit/have upcoming releases:

    The Killers
    Frank Ocean
    The Black Crowes
    Ray LaMontangue
    The Hold Steady
    Clipse
    TV on the Radio
    St Vincent
    SBTRKT
    Needtobreathe
    Wild Beasts

It is pretty damn impressive how few repeats they get.

Ouch man that seems really unnecessary. It was just an observation, I'm not claiming to know the lineup. Like I said previously it was just me being hopeful. There is absolutely no reason to deem me a "fucking idiot" or a "dumbshit." That is rude and childish and I'm sorry I offended you so much by drawing a connection between a tour and a festival.
