Saw Bright Eyes @the Arlington in Santa Barbara last night, thought it was pretty great, maybe just having post-Coachella doldrums...
it seemed he was sort of making a point to pause languidly, and ceremoniously suck back beer. Of course, it inspired a very predictable
reaction, every damn time.

it was near perfect for me and the stage set-up was great.
projections onto the band and backdrop.
by the end of the set, "bright eyes" grew to 10+ including gillian welch and dave and jason boesel from rilo kiley.

Does this mean that you're gonna be at the Marquee Theatre on Wednesday? Tickets are less than $40 (through Luckyman) even. And probably will be a bit cheaper the day of assuming it doesn't sell out.
