Default Festivals in the United Kingdom

    Hello fellow festival fans,

I've been going to Coachella for the past few years, but I am now going to be spending at least a year in Aberdeen, Scotland working. I'm sad to miss Coachella this year, but I am excited to get to some other festivals in the UK. I was wondering if people could help me track down the names of the other major festivals in Scotland and the rest of the UK? I know of Glastonbury, Rewind, and Rockness.

I know there must be more in the UK. What are the big ones?

Also, I guess since Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden are all pretty close, anything located over there would be appreciated too.

I appreciate any help in advance!

    Thanks,
    D

In addition to the CoS list, there's a uk website called "efestivals" that keeps up to date information on all things festivals. Particularly Euro festivals.

T in the park always looks like a good line up. Crowd looks fun and into the music. Only downside is that there are a lot of NEDS and the festival gets a bit trashy, from what i have heard and read.
