Someone in the office - a woman - stuffs like, ALL of the toilet seat covers into the tiny trash bin next to the toilet. Almost every day.

So, has she used them all or just decided to dispose of a giant unused pile of seat covers? Either way, bizarre.

I start a new job in a week and a half. Today I asked if there was going to be a drug screen... I wanted to know if I had to budget for fake pee. She said "no drug screen needed, we figure what people do outside of work is thier business. Our owner is a huge party animal, so we worry more about him than anyone else"... YES!!!!

That's what we want to know! I think this person just has some kind of hatred towards the toilet seat covers.

A senior level colleague of mine is retiring soon, and our VP has asked that he take some time to mentor me and pass some intel on to me before he leaves. I'm hoping this is meant to be grooming for more management responsibilities for me in the coming months.

We're not sure if the culprit even uses them. The bunch that we see in the receptacles are still in it's original fold.

Slow day, so I just moved my flight to Vegas from 5pm, up to Noon. No more than 10 minutes later, my boss schedules an urgent 10:30AM meeting.

So weird. Maybe she has some irrational fear of them or feels they are unnecessary for the potty experience and is trying to stealthily spread the word.

Some of the suggested activities from the official Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day are a serious hippy dippy hoot.

    The Caring Tree.
This activity invites girls and boys, along with adults, to recognize and celebrate some of the caring people in their lives. The "work of caring," while often unpaid, is some of the most important work we get to do for one another in the world.
    Happiness MiniQuilt
Kids and adults together draw and discuss what makes them happiest. In the process, they learn that happiness often has more to do with relationships than with money or status.

When I went to my dad's, we got to see space satellites they were building, eat pizza, and rollerblade in the parking lot.

Walked into the restroom at lunch, open the stall door and someone's shit log is staring at me. Is flushing a difficult task to some?

My dad owned an old movie theatre, so when he would take me to work for the day, I would end up on the roof, shovelling rust out of an old turbine style air conditioner, in the car helping him deliver stacks of programs all over town, or licking hundred of envelopes for invoicing. There was no fun or hippy dippy fluff.

A guy who owns his own business bringing his kid to work is not remotely the same thing as a "take your kid to work day"

My husband's stepdad worked at NOSC (they operate all the classified long distance communications arrays for the Navy). All the kids got to put hotdogs on really loooong sticks and cook them instantaneously in the super high-powered microwave antennas. Good old-fashioned dangerous fun!

this phenomenon is happening in my office as well, but now the culprit brought in one of the desk trash cans into the stall & stuffs it with tons of seat covers & miles of toilet paper. we thought maybe they were wrapping something up in it? no one is brave enough to unravel & find out. it's not a once a month occurrence.
